Calling All Photoshawpers

So, as there are many aborted, divorced, orphaned threads on artwork, as well as the various signature requests, would anyone be willing to do a small contest on several different themes, in different styles, using photoshop and derivatives? Would also need judges, PM me, remember this is just a poll, I'm not necessarily claiming my seat as leader of this contest if it happened.

To participate, you will need 1 or more of these:

- MSPaint: easiest to use, basic. Results often humorous. (See Piltogg's art).
- GIMP: a free downloadable programme, almost as good as Photoshop but not as good
- Adobe CS: Below: Expensive programme, medium level, good results.
                 - Photoshop
                 - Illustrator
                 - Flash
- Corel Painter: Retail programme. Realistic results
- Any Professional design tools.


Yeah, so I recommend GIMP as it's free. I know this has been done before, but I don't want to go necroeing, although in some contexts.

I would like to participate, sounds interesting... One question, are the themes Lego related or just random?
Also, I don't have like 2 or 3 of those programs, is that okay?

I included the chirpy chirpy cheap sheep programmes for the people living on benefits or those who prefer a basic user interface.
BFenix, themes will be decided later, also we should endeavour to include various levels of skill, meaning anyone can win if the judges like it. I was thinking we should get a panel of varied judges, eg Warhead - humour, could side with some of the less artistic pieces if he thought the ideas were good. Stubby - well, he's an artist after all and he's the Admin, so he'd be a good judge.

Perhaps another LEGO themed one - shop the box cover.

I think it would be fun to participate, although I'd most likely be using paint, seeing as it's already on my computer and it's easy to use.

I might get Gimp, but my computer is from 2001 so it can't handle certain amounts of programmes as well as more recent ones.
