My next project will be a music video that will involve a rocket, so I guess I can experiment with tecniques then.

Does anyone know how to curve a picture in gimp

L I K E T H IS?

As in squashing an image by curving the top and bottom? It would really help in making space backgrounds to create a sense of depth in the composite.

Can't you just set up an Image Pipe and change the brush size to do text? If you mean one big background image, I dunno, I'm a photoshop guy.

That's really easy to make in PS, try it.

You'd be suprised how quickly you can whip these up from scratch. And yes I know the edge is crappy

And, as far as I can recall I'm not sure we ever actually decided on who our protagonist was going to be. We had a few ideas floating about, but nothing concrete.
