My favorite animals

Post by OneEye589 » Wed May 19, 2010 11:11 pm

I got some fancy markers and colored pencils the other day. Here's what came of it.

The paper they're on is 11inx15in, so they aren't that small. It was my first real dive into using these Chartpak markers and Prismacolor pencils, but I had a lot of fun. Each of these took me about an hour max to complete.

Tell me what you think.

I think they're really good, nice use of marker pens. I wish I'd kept up on my sketching, just don't have the time.

Very nice, I really like the rhino with the shading & color blending. It dosen't look like marker & pencil, but I'm looking at this through an iPhone right now...

Thanks guys. I've still got to do a squid and that will cover my favorite animals, then on to some other things, maybe some landscapes and cartoony type stuff.

The rhino is best, but as I said, perhaps you should try drawing LEGOs for pure ossum.
