I don't think 3D10 is really that destructible it really depends on how much explosives you got in your army and any way. and there is little chance that you get overkill on this so it will probably at least stay alive for about 3 turns .

Only porblem is if your foe has lots of air sport/anti-tank stuff.if the attack En masse, only a d100 will save you.

put a hero in it make someone redshirt, then shout OVERKILLL!!!
you could probably even have him pilot a papercraft mech and get away with it
Act first, then think, then try to find a way to cover up the horrible mess you made.

STOP. why does everyone think a d20 is amazing? 2d10 rolls higher on average than 1d20 does! especially with crit. success!

10d3 >>> 3d10
I said "no" to drugs, but they just wouldn't listen...

because 10d3 has a minimum of 10 and a max of 30, the average is 20,
and 3d10 has a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 30, the average is 16.5

exactly! So right off the bat 2d10 has 1d20 beat, thus furthering 4's point.

Now using 3D10, because 8 mechs with anti-tank weapons can easily destroy everything in sight, including eachother. Also in the grand ways of Mechassault, some of them go critical upon dying, as in THEY GO BOOM!
currently destroying some smaller mechs to create a larger mech.
