Have a family of retards (haha family issues) in a people carrier. Perhaps a swarm/distraction tactic? If the Czech are going, then they could be used as auxiliary dimmies.

No the Czechs aren't going.  I have 88 Assyrian minifigs in the force, at least 14 of which are manning vehicles or mecha.  2 are heroes, 5 are robots, 40 are the orange Assyrian Soldiers (3 mounted on Vesta Death Bikes), 2 have heavy armour, 26 are commandos (4 in a ship and were counted earlier, 4 are Star Commandos), and 3 are in hard suits.

Dang, that's alot of Assyrian's. At my last count I believe I have about 70+ soldiers & marines on the ground, not including the drivers & pilots of my vehicles. I need to do a recount, I reassigned positions awhile ago. With the VOL siding with you it might be too much for me to fight.... Unless we do a scenario where the VOL are hired to protect something and we both fight it out in open territory, while trying to attack a bunker that the VOL are holed up in....  Also are we bringing in air units too?

I only have 5 air units -- and three of those are the Death Bikes.

Maybe an objective-based game would be good, or if I bring the random people they could be civilians but they will join the side of whoever gets near them first.  I'll also be bringing like 10 of the 16 x 32 baseplates so we will have some extra room.

*EDIT*
Okay these are the two ships I will bring:

My schedule is semi-flexible, but I can't do like mid-June because I will be in the Bay Area then.  Maybe I could do early July though because I will head back your way before leaving and going back to Atlanta.

I should be good too, anyone have a venue where we can do this at? If we can't get a bigger one in time, we could use a smaller force for the 19th so we can get the rules down. And do some balancing & tweeking, for a bigger battle in July. Oh, and I hope you had a pleasent journey....

Sad news everybody, I dropped the First in Battle-Glory.
So she will be out of commission for a while.
I can still participate in a space battle however, as I have two working frigates, three light fighters a shuttle and a gunship. But my main arena will be the ground battle.

Hey, if Strana isn't able to accommodate the Caid sector rematch on Saturday, we could hold it at my place.
Let me know.
