You guys can stop whining about all this, if the store goes well then they will open up another one and in Vancouver probably . You will just need to wait.. like five years.
Been here longer then pretty much all of you or some shit.

Well in five years I'll have the means to travel where I please, so it won't matter where it is.

I thought Toronto would've been the first...

But hey, at least they're on their way. :D

Great! How long before it reaches Scotland? 1000 years? I bet they put it in Edinburgh too, just because it's the Capital, even though there are more people in Glasgow. Bastards!

You might see one in the UK sooner then you think Warhead, form what I hear Lego is making big bucks while most other big businesses are having loses. Also this Cadian store is not the only new one like there is one in NY,NY opening and they opened like 4-5 stores and a indoor lego land of sorts up North so they are defently growing and expanding.

At the moment, there are only 3 lego shops in the UK, brighton, blue water (a shopping center in kent) and milton keynes - all three of which are a fucking long way away from wales.

Hell - just two stores opening (one in scotland and one in wales) would make a world of fucking difference as I would kill to get bulk lego without having to wait (or bricklink, which I've never fully trusted).

Bleh - a man can dream, and get shat on from great height - but he can dream.

Well the residents of Canaydia can have fun riding thier moose and sipping maple syrup while on their way to the lego store. The closest lego store to me is 190 miles away, somewhere also in Canaydia.

No, Silva's right too, The bearfight is a mating ritual for new couples. The moosehunt on the other is a rite of passage when boys turn 14 and they have to help their familty procure the day's food.

A boy is sent out into the wild with his father (And sometimes a close uncle) He must down at least 3 moose in 2 days lest he be forever ridiculed by both his family and his peers.

After the first moose is killed he pulls it's skull out with his bare hands and then proceeds to use its antlers as skis to cross the barren waste to find another moose.

P.S. Hmm, I go to Toronto once year to visit my relatives, but Vancouver is a hel of a lot closer. I end up going to Vancouver only a few times a year though since it's a hour and a half to the ferry, an hour and a half on the ferry and then one-two hours to get into downtown. And that's on a light traffic day.

I think you're all forgetting the earliest right or passage. When a baby is born, it is given a smack on the bottom with a freshly cut off beaver tail, and then is wrapped in the hide of the same beaver, using its teeth as a pacifier.

BTW Do any of you Ontario-ers know a good place to get Lego in Toronto?

Preferably not near Jane/Finch.

Ah, I see you know of the infamous Jane/Finch. I had no idea it was that widely known.

I haven't looked around for stores, I usually just go in when I find one. But I know Mastermind Toys has a really good selection of Lego for the size of the store. However, they seem to stock up on more of the Creator and Technic sets than themed sets, so it depends on what you're looking for.

Toys 'R' Us is always a good option, even the one in the mall here in Markham has a huge selection.

There used to be a Lego store (not an actual Lego store, but they were all brick toys) at Cookstown outlet mall, just about 30 minutes north of Toronto. It's gone now, which I found out the hard way after persuading the FBI to drive me there. :?

Yeah, I know about Jane/Finch since I go to Toronto every summer to see relatives.

I agree about Mastermind though. I got a couple of sets there last year.

I would love to go to the outlet mall I have nothing but bad memories of the FBI driving around lost for two hours when we went there.
