Tides of Darkness: Act 1
So it begins, my friends, though it's a little lackluster, my dice rolling mojo wasn't with me this morning, even though the sacrifices I made to please them yesterday.
Background music (seriously you can't stop humming it):

But let's roll:
The Dark Horde:
Warhead's armies:
Warhead began regrouping, though it seemed he had something on his mind which didn't really work out.
Ezra's forces (Ross_Varn):
Ezra moved with his cultist and the spider to bolster Warhead's troops. Ezra successfully injected some enhancing drugs to his cultist minions, giving them a +1 to all mod (marked by a grey pip).
The rest of his troops moved to the left flank.
Orks (Yoda_Dog):
The berserkers got loaded in the transport, which moved towards Warhead.
The rest of the greenskins began to move as one huge unit towards the imperials, benefitting from the relative cover of scenery. Their shaman tried to evoke some magik but failed. Kensai tried to do something grande, but then he realised he was only a swordsman, so he spent his feat on training the brutes, giving them +1 stats, once again indicated by a grey pip.
Imperial Forces:
Main Army (MasterEcabob):
Niol would've tried to do something involving unit transportation but failed. After that, the army began to charge towards the Evil hordes, while the knights of the realm dispatched to engage combat with the orks. The crossbowmen and clerics stayed behind, in case something funny was going to happen.
The warmachine joined the engineer's artillery and waited.
Engineer's Guild (Bragallot):
Once again, repositioning: the techknight converted his armor and rode to join the Runeknights, while the flamer went to joinup the Imperial army. The ribault moved forward, while the rocketeers and spearmen moved around it to give some protection... but then:
A response barrage happened by the glommox, sadly didn't dealt too much damage but left a big cloud of gas which can be hazardous.
Meanwhile, Karl was up to something, as he was searching for something...
... and found one of his first inventions, the clockwork kamikaze goblin! -successful feat-
He quickly dispatched the bugger which zipped through the field.
Then he and Imperial Officer Meryl moved on.
The rest of the engineers began targeting to help the weapons crew's.
So, that's turn 1. Nothing thrilling so far...
BUT WAIT!
Suddenly, new armies arrive to the field:
Hailing from Direwood, Landlord Arthel Wolfsbane dispatched a small unit to aid the Imperials. Led by an Ursar, a wandering Champion of the North, the Direwood Strike Force has arrived! -commandeered by Silverdream-
Swiftly out of nowhere, a group of scantly-clad warrior goddesses arrive. What is their motivation? Are they friend or foe? The Amazon Elves! -led by Arkbrik-
Now with all factions revea... wait what?
Suddenly, a new force emerges near the ruins of Castle Awesome. They're the villagers and peasants who had to flee from their homes because of the orks. Now they're here for revenge! Led by the Tenacious hero-duo, Jables the warrior, and Rage-Kage the battle-priest, the Angry Local Mob is here to kick some ass! -following the orders of the Shadowscythe-
So that's it, now for real, here are some Overwatch shots of the field:
Awaiting orders for turn 2! Deadline: Next week thursday.

Awesome. I hope Warhead recognizes that the demon code prevents him from declining a rock-off challenge.Zahru II wrote:Led by the Tenacious hero-duo, Jables the warrior, and Rage-Kage the battle-priest
