No love for Motorstorm?
It's probably the most Brikwarsy racing game out there, except it doesn't have guns. BUT you can punch people off their motorcycles.
The sequel is great too, it's based on a tropical island instead of the desert like the first one, and they added the monster truck as a vehicle.

I hope World of Warcraft counts. Not the best game as a whole, but definitively has moments of awesome, and keeps you engaged the longest.
don't believe me?
Battle for Undercity
your first flying mount
ICC25 Heroic
Ulduar 25
That moment in Molten core where ragnoros emerges from the lava.
That lvl 8 dwarf quest where you find the mangled corpse and his journal tells you to take his armor and beat the shit out of the bear that killed him, and as you turn the last page a bear runs out of the woods.
Mt Ironforge.
I'm sure everyone else has theirs.

Those were all things that were done in WoW. I posted them because from experience with other forums i usually get yelled at about how
WoW Sukz0rZZZ and how it's boneriffic to pay OMG REAL MONEYfor a game subscription.

Plastik Armory: a bunch of weapons and abilities compatible with the 2010 rules.

But Motorstorm is still pretty awesome, and I personally prefer off-road over street racing.

ORLY? i'm happy to know teres at least one other person to know how badly fallout 3 snuggled the series, it's not a bad game, just too different to the rest of them, it pisses me off more than call of duty.Tzan wrote:Fulizer wrote: Also fallout tactics: brotherood of steel, why doesn't anyone notice the older fallout games, all of them were (and still are) brilliant
Oops! Thats not on my list because I never boxed it

And I really like Fallout 3 and CallofDuty.
I don't care if they change things from the original, I just like good games.
good games are fun, but when they create fanboys who have no knowledge of origionals, thats when fail sets in.
Lots of people I know like the fallout games, but have never SEEN others than fallout 3, and many forums I consider joining I stop bothering with because their only active threads are about call of duty: modern warfare 2, the one game that is unescapable, I'm glad taht that game goes mostly unmentioned here.
Also, swarm assault. it may be small, but it's freakishly addictive. definattley notable.
