The new armor looks a bit sloppy and welded on, perhaps making it thicker all the way through may be a good idea? As a benefit, it'll be harder to explodify your tracks.

Nah, new armor is cool. Looks like what the Germans used to cover their tanks up:

But yeah, still needs moar dakka. Unless its supposed to be some sort of APC. But thats just a lame excuse :)

I like the side armour, it looks better now. You could attack 2x2 plates over the panels to represent Reactive armour: They're shape explosive charges facing outward that when hit by a large weapon like a missile explode blasting outward lessening the attacks force and penetration value.

I that the real definition of reactive armor? It sounds expensive for the military

It's still cheaper than replaceing a tank.

No idea, I read it in a Cyberpunk 2020 RPG book called Maximum Metal that dealt with futuristic armoured vehicles, including AV's and Power Armour. It's a great system for all sorts of heavy warfare in RPG. I've ran a Tactical SWAT team and independant outfits of mercs with these rules.

Google says yes. It is real.

Wikipedia agrees.
