Been making my self some halo armor
No it is not the spartan armor.
But it is still halo armor every body makes spartan armor so I thought to do some thing different marine armor, also snow marine armor much more interesting than 117.
I will admit this now that I am in love with halo but I don't think most of you care, so I wont go on about it, I just want to know how you think I did making it.
This is the chest peace and back peace strapped together.
Looking at the back peace.
This is the helmet still not finished just need to add a visor.
I padded the inside with foam and then covered it up. it is really comfortable.
This is the magnum.
The upper shine peace still not finished.

I used pepakura designer and printed out the mesh and stuck that together then I fiber glassed the inside and spray painted and touched up on the detailing to give it the battle look. to make it fit to me I just stuck some foam in the inside then covered that up then added some straps to keep it in place.
This has taken me a long time.
This has taken me a long time.

I like Halo, but seriously despise Halotards. Its a saga with a nice story and a good game in various aspects, but some people (mainly kids) take it to a level which I don't want to talk about...
Anyways, Im all about Arts and Crafts, and this armor is quite nicely done. Well worked, well put together and nice detailing. I was to make some Halo armor to, but then my Katana project came to mind and I dumped it

I see... I used the same method with my katana. I did completely different things from advice and the tutorials and it end up pretty well! are you settling for the magnum or are you building other weapons?Colonel-Kermit wrote:well I looked at how they did it and then sort of did my own method, but I did base my armor around how they did, but there are some really different things that I have done that seem to work better.BFenix wrote:Are you following the 405th tutorials or are you on your own?
