And we all know it is a bad idea to post on the internet while being drunk. Hence "The beer sub forum is almost NEVER updated."

Good point. We are all too smart to fall into that trap.

...

I find these remarks insulting and insightful at the same time. With the aid of copious amounts of beer I shall ignore them to save myself any further confusion.

In lieu of beer, the boss has decided to supply us with hot buttered rum at the office today. Therefore I'm using this opportunity to post on the internet while drunk.

Congrats!

It always seems weird when there is alcohol in the office.
We had a cookout one day with the managers doing the cooking. Beer and soda was provided. Yes I did some moderate beer guzzling, but I did have to drive home, so not too much.

If it seems weird to have alcohol at the office, then this place is weird 24/7. The lone bottle of Maker's on my desk gives me the unfortunate distinction of having the desk bearing the least alcohol in the whole department.

Edit: Never mind, I also have a bottle of Bushmill's I forgot about, hiding behind an LU poster. That makes me tied with the 3D guy's gin supply for last place.

...I've always wanted to own a pub, but now I'd settle for just working in your office... at least until the booze is gone anyways.

That's quite a nice and well equipped workplace.

I'd wish I had the same, but then I get free rounds at the university on a daily basis from my pals...

The booze is never gone here. At lunchtime the lead producer brought in surprise beer for the whole office.

At Turbine we never had surprise beer, but we did have surprise baked goods.

One of the testers had a girl with a cooking problem, so once a week or two he would bring in the excess food.

Several times a week someone would bring in several dozen Krispy Kreme donuts. A new one opened up 1 mile away at the time.

There were some Asheron's Call fans that ran a bakery and they would send over some awesome stuff once or twice a month.

I'm a big fan of hunting and gathering baked goods at the office.

No! Don't take the Bushmills, then Wooyang will win!

But seriously, the whole reason I'm in this mess is because you took my 1.75L unopened bottles of Maker's, Sauza, AND Absolut and left them out for the testers. For TESTERS! I feel no guilt at all about ending up with your Bushmills!
