This forum seems to attract an inordinate ratio of homeschoolers...
That could explain why everyone thinks we're emotionally unstable.

Y'know why? Because we're at home all day and Lego's supposedly 'educational'. It's rational, especially since one of every three kids I ask have either heard of or played Brikwars.

Oh, and before I forget, welcome. Excellent job with the report. I have a feeling you'll become one of the regulars in no time.

Well, in this case Legos really are exceptionally educational. Especially Warhead's variations...
Also, I had no idea what a railgun was before I got here. Or a chaingun, or several other projectile-flinging variants.
See my title for additional sentiment.

Oh, let me assure you, you still don't.
But you will, you all will, come the Caid sector rematch.

Nice army, the general looks like just the minifig to command an army like this. Also, the dropship i spot on, the fact that it can actually land a decent amount of troops makes it win in my eyes. And did you say battle? Well... take pictures, post it. Please? :)

Sweet army, looks like a force not to be trifled with. What is the MNU's views on Peach equality?

@Cakeman: The battle is probably not worth posting. It was filled with ragtag rainbow structures and while I took pictures, they weren't exactly good at reporting the battle, and were taken more to be good, violent wallpapers. It was just a small scale test solo test battle, with my fighters, marines, and minigunners participating against pirates and other napoleanic soldiers. We won, though.

@Roc77: While we our peach policies don't reach outright barbarianism and genocide like the Assyrians, we generally consider peaches inferior, mostly because the yellows constitute the majority of the soldiers and mixing yellows and peaches would violate the conformity demanded by the Church of Spherism. But it really depends on which skin-colored minifigure would make a better army

Pandy, may I remind you that you being lazy and not posting doesn't make someone else a dickhead, matter-of-factly speaking. :)

So to address this topic, it is true, the Nyphilusian soldiery have in fact been sighted in the very same forum fight which is currently being overrun by a horde of blockbots which used to be controlled by Aoffan23. I missed them myself because the Nyphs weren't really getting much airplay (hint: closeup photos of your nyphs from now on will get them more prestige!).

Welcome back to the military of Nyphilis United recruitment and information center! I’m sure it has been a long time since you have heard of the Nyphilian army, and some of the newer n00bs may have never even heard of it. While pedonuker PandoraNuker has been gone for a while, the army of Nyphilis has continued to grow and expand its ranks. Let me show you the new developments.

Image
The biggest advancement in the Nyphilian army is the construction of the first SHIP, the S.S Midgetman.

Image
Staring down the Midgetman’s size 11 main cannon.

Image
The bridge. Main deck is in the middle floor, while the engineering, shields, bunks, etc are in the lower grey deck.

Image
The crew that mans the Midgetman. From left to right: captain, lieutenant, 2 bridge operators, and the gunner.

Image
Also part of the ship’s crew is the Nyphilian Star Marines, the section of the army devoted to being the ships’ security forces and boarding parties.

Image
Also new to the army are the desert commandos, specialized units trained for desert operations.

Image
While they cameoed in the “Immortal’s Worst Nightmare” forum battle fiasco, the Nyphilian jungle corps has never gotten a proper appearance. Here they are.

Image
The jetpack corps is a relatively new addition to the army. With slightly thicker armor and heavier weaponry, they can do a lot more damage than the regular infantry.

Image
The medic was featured but never properly introduced in my first army update.

Image
While the Phoenix fighters were cameoed as a civilian spacecraft in the aforementioned forum battle, they have never been introduced. The Nyphilian army realized the need for a small, portable, compact fighter jet that could pack a punch, and so production for this fighter was commissioned. It has proven its reliability and mettle in countless battles.

Image
The Pegasus tilt rotor helicopter was an ad-hoc correction to fill a donut hole the military had: a small transport vehicle. While the shuttles could bring troops from star to star and from a planet’s continent to continent, it proved bulky and ineffective in dropping off small numbers of troops during battle. So the Pegasus was designed with mainly transport in mind, carrying two soldiers and a pilot.

Image
While the original Nyphilian shuttle was designed as a dropship/gunship, concerns grew as the immortal, peach, triangulist, and dimmy threats grew ever closer, so the shuttle was also then purposed as a bomber. This is the standard bomb payload for a shuttle now. Talk about a bunker-buster!

Overall, I hope that we at the MNU have helped you express desire to join our amazing military. For the motherland of Nyphilis, we fight!
