Didn't like the song, and I'm pretty neutral about the new skellies, but anything that results in more ninjas in Bricklink is great in my book.

Did any one notice that the knifes in the Ninjago sets are more rubbery then they used to be?

Looks like the mace there is solid rubber, no plastic
. The golden ones, with the starter set.

Another nice thing about the skeleton arms; the non-hand parts are the size of a minifig tool, so hands and other things can grip the forearm and stuff. Good for MOC work.
