Immortal: Armour Recon

Image

The newly unloaded Trailblazer Command Recon APC sits on the tarmac...

Image

It's drop door opens and a grim figure emerges, Colonel Krieg sets foot onto the planet for the first time.

Image

An escorting squad of Armour Recon Troopers wait expectantly nearby.

Image

Amongst them is a TerrorKhan Berserker...

Image

...and an infamous scout/assassin of the Nadir.

Image

This new planet has not been tamed yet. Reports from regular Immortal Army troops speak of missing patrols and ambushed convoys that disappear in a region of extensive Lego Wastelands, a region sparsely populated with prols, lowlifes, wildly insane Monsters and ABS mutants. So far the attackers have always managed to escape from superior Immortal Forces, even baffling Aerial Patrol and Support before melting back into the wastes taking their dead with them. The situation is not yet serious enough to warrant the need for Immortal Family involvement and the Colonel has been ordered to identify the resistance in order for the main Immortal Army to put a stop to this defiance.

Image

Image

The Armour Recon patrol sets out cautiously.

[Suspend disbelief] THIS IS NOT OUTSIDE FICO BUT DEEP IN THE LEGO WASTELAND DESERTS ON A DIFFERENT PLANET. [/Suspend disbelief]

Image

Contact: Wasteland Scavies have been spotted entering this bombed out derelict Industrial Complex.

Image

Immortal Armoured Recon check it out, will extreme caution.

Image

The Scout explains what he saw, at least three mutant scavies, their trail disappears shortly after entering this building. The Colonel agrees it's worth checking out and gives the order.

Image

The highly trained recon troops dismount and get about their business.

Image

Heavy weapons take up flanking positions and fire teams move up in standard two by two covering formation.

Image

The APC parks up facing the buildings corner so it can cover the side entrance and cover any retreat.

Image

"All teams reporting in ready to go, Colonel..."

Image

Silence...

Image

Nothing moves...

Image

Just a feeling...

Image

An edge of expectant malice.

Image

A calm before the storm...

Image

Like a rage building, jaws clenched...

Image

waiting to be loosed...

Image

Image

Deeper in the twisted wreckage...

Image

A hatch...

Image

...softly opens...

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

OK, GENTLEMEN LISTEN UP! I NEED A FEW GOOD MEN OR LADIES TO SIGN UP AND TAKE CONTROL OF ONE MINI_FIG EACH, . THE OBJECTIVE IS TO SWEEP THE BUILDING FOR MUTANT SCAV-RAIDERS FOR THE GLORY OF THE IMMORTAL EMPIRE. SO, WHO'S MAN ENOUGH?
THE COLONEL, APC DRIVER AND GUNNER ARE ALL NPC's controlled by me (as are the scavies) but the rest are up for grabs...

Um, I kind of used all the red already... SO! I bought extra for all the blood and explosions YAY!!! :D

OK, That's the positions all taken, I may expand the size of the squad for someone important or needy enough if I feel suitably sorry for them. But as is, this is enough for me to get on with Turn 0 in the morning.
Please Read... wrote:OK Gentlemen, this is how it's going to be. I'll post up the turn, you then read it and post up your orders ON THE THREAD. I'll be playing bad guys anyway so PM secrecy isn't needed and it'll allow you all to plan and be as tactical as stink during the game. Understood? Good. Await further Orders when Turn 0 in the Forum Battle thread arrives. That is all.
