new armor
here is some new armor I came up with.
big shield: 2d6 parry
mark VI armor (spartan): +4 to armor

I hate weddings. Old people would poke me saying "You're next". They stopped when I started going up to them at funerals and poking them, saying, "You're next"

Don't feed the troll they say but I think his not a troll so
Yeah, be happy with your new ideas and use them in your battles but really this is nothing so special that it should receive a brand new thread.
But-to improve your mark VI armor I'd add shield generators what spartans have, maybe discounts the first hit, adds +1d6 armor for the first hit etc.
And after use recharges after a turn?

No thank you. That is something game geeks have beat to death. I would rather see rules for something you came up with and built. Then you could post pictures and rules on the same post.spartan117 wrote:hey man I have made some very detailed rules for halo spartans so if you want some just let me know
Just a thought.

In my mind a Spartan is like a hardsuit- it makes the guy pretty much immune to small arms fire, but unlike a hardsuit, he's still limited to S1 weapons, so you're best off giving him a rocket lawn-chair, or some kinda melee weapon.

well here it goes
SPARTAN II cp:100
skill:1d12+2
move:8"
armor:2d6+8
shield:20*
hp:3
3-4 actions/feats
cliche:SPARTAN II
self heals, throws tanks, carrys heavy turrets, crazy high jump. etc
*each point of dmg takes down 1 shield IE on 1d6 a score of 4 dmg takes the shield down to 16.every turn regain half shield until full IE at 2 shield next player turn it would be 12
well there you go. as you can see he is crazy. and these rules are only to be used if he is going to be pretty much your only guy in a huge fight you can have like 10 troops but if you want him lessend just cut his stats in half IE 1d6+4
10 shield, 2 hp, 2 actions for small games
so far he is really fun!! for all players

WHAT THE FUCK?
Here's a better and less absurd one.
skill:1d10
move:7"
armor:2d10
Heroic Ego(1 Feat) SPARTAN II Cliche
MJOLNIR Powered Assault Armor- This advanced suit of protective gear gives the SPARTAN super-soldier incredible surviabilty- in any situation where the soldier would otherwise be killed, roll a d6. On a 5 or a 6, the SPARTAN is fine.
With a weapon and all that, im guessing my spartan would cost like 30cp

It's not too bad if you're after the one-man army thingy like in the books and games. Could be an entertaining occasional thing. I wouldn't wanna play against him too often, though. (It reminds me of the Movie Marines they statted back in 4th Edition 40k... 1500 points got you five over-the-top dudes).
But yeah, the main downside to statting out stuff you love is... you love it. He costs almsot as much as general grievous' fighter (sans grievous!)

It's a secret to everybody.

well in the books they do cost as much a a small starship
but yea ill get him and both my friends outnumber my forces and have 3-4 heros
and we use lots of higher stats anyway, for more variety. my normal trooper has like 1d6+2 armor, so for us he is not that bad
so half the stats and that would be what you could use
