No worries Silver--at least one other person is hardcore. I too beat Sacred Ground, each time with a different weapon combo. I can't even count the times I've beaten the main game though--I love replaying it once in a while. I remember the first time I played it and thought it was the coolest thing ever about 4 or 5 years ago.
Erm, Nifflas didn't "do" the WiiWare port (that was Nicalis, Inc.), but he was involved with the soundtrack (appropriately enough, as his games do indeed have awesome soundtracks).
If we're talking about Nifflas and his games, too, perhaps we should change this thread title to "Awesome Indie Games"? In that vein, the Submachine games (by Mateusz Skutnik) are fun point-and-click puzzle games with great ambient music.

Indie games, huh?
I just beat Yume Nikki yesterday, and it's a great game. Do not play at night though.
You are a little girl called Madotsuki, and you have to explore your dreams to collect 24 Effects. The effects are sometimes hidden in very unlikely places, so you might need to use a walkthrough to find some of them. There's also lots of other stuff that you can run into that's strange, creepy or bizarre.
Oh, and there is one scene in the game that is completely positive, with nothing weird or scary. One scene. And it's rather hard to find.

This is going to sound evil, but why is he so hard? I managed to get past him on my first try despite everyone telling me how horrible it is. Course I was stuck on the double dragon boss last time I played. Time to dust off the logitech...Zahru II wrote:I played it twice but always got stuck at that treaded machine sub-boss thing, which drove me nuts and always whopped my ass... to the point I ragequitted.
*edit Gah! went back to play it and all my saves were gone! what sick god ordered this?
Okay fine I give up
