Going to the Lego Store Tomorrow...

Post by Swordsalmon » Sun Mar 06, 2011 1:17 pm

And I've set aside $100 for it. I'm already planning on buying 10-20 Manta Warriors and possibly another MIDI Star Detroyer. Ya'll have any suggestions for good sets?

Both times I went I got a large PAB cup, baseplates, minifigs, and a couple smaller sets. The places around me don't have a good selection, so I took the opportunity to get the $10 or $15 sets I hadn't seen in Wal-Mart.

I don't live close to any lego stores (sadly), but I've been to some before and if I were you i would just do the pick-a-brick thing. That way you can get exactly what you need (parts-wise anyway) They may not have a good minifig selection, but hey, that's what bricklink's for.

I'll have to take another look at PAB when I'm there. The store's selection was pretty bad the last time I was there, but hopefully they changed it up a bit.

And I may just have to pick up some giant crabs. Fishguy knights mounted on Giant Enemy Crabs? ;)

When I go to the Lego store, I plan on buying a pile of flame pieces.

They don't OTC's in Pick-a-Brick. OTC's haven't been in production since the 90's.

How unfortunate, seeing as how they are the one of the coolest weapons ever to grace minifig, or human for that matter, civilization.

My solution? BRICKLINK

Yeah, they go for only about 5 cents each on there, since they're useless to anybody who doesn't play Brikwars.
