Skeiðbrimir ship

I just threw this ship together for the heck of it. The name is from norse mythology. I'm very bad at ship classes so I hope you could help me with this one(Gun ship?... Assault something?)
This is a small ship with some guns and stuff... and crew of maybe 4: Pilot, co-pilot, gunner and engineer. It has no transport opportunities but a lot of weapons.

Here it is:

Turret on top, I think it came out well

Entrance

Air lock:

Hard to see but there is some storage room down there... with weapons:

Cockpit and kitchen completed with shitty litle bed and space suit:

Torpedoes ofcourse:
Image

4 missile racks under the wings and 2 on top on each side:

Two cannons and one big gun of Death or something...

Under the ship, note the landing gear:

And thats it for now, thanks for looking

Incredibly good gunboat/light frigate. I like the wings.

Wow. Lost for words. If this is what you just threw together for the sake of it....

I like the amount of detail you put inside.

Landing gear is rather.... blocky.

This looks really great.
It's also nice to see that the inside is functional.
To many people take design over "playability"(me included :P). But I think Functionality or playability makes a creation twice as awesome.

 this...is...amazing. the compactness, the fact that it is filled with weapons, the internals, everything is a :ftw:.
Kudos, Tunasailor, and welcome back! :guinness:

This reminds me of an old Traveller shuttle, but with better armorment. ;-)

Well done. I even liked the engines regardless of your comment. :D

This is epic -- one of the best midsize ships I've ever seen. I'm especially impressed with how you constructed that nose cone, and then managed to fit a cockpit inside it. Awesome work.

This is like totally awesomeee. This thing is epic in every way except for size. The detail inside and outside is immaculate. I love the feeling inside the ship. It seems very authentic. I especially live the torpedos, airlock, wing-mounted engines, and cockpit.

"just threw together?" looks like a whole lot of planning went into this one.

Yes, I started by building some engines because I had those half circle pieces (those that are on each side of the engine)
And then I just had to put a spacship on it because I liked them. It took about one and a half day to make it and it is the first creation I have made in a long time, well, since I was gone.
And also it is about 42 studs long

I really like the big gun of Death. It really stuck out to me for some reason. :)

Can't decide what I like better, the fact you're back TunaSailor or what you brought to show us. Awesomeness all round.
