Humanoid Mech Frame
So, for my upcoming mech project Im going for a humanoid type frame, something I havent accomplished successfully, yet. I searched the web for various frames and this one seems to be the very best. Various joints, very poseable and overall customizable.
Im am going to make it slightly larger though but the basic frame on my mind is this one.
Ill soon update this with a list of pieces I can find built on the ALM-018 (frame's name). Perhaps you guys could then help me fill in the gaps? And of course, some tips and advice for this construction would be highly appreciated. If you want to see more pics follow this link: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=132958

Probably, I might have to make some adjustments, mainly because I will have lots of bricks mounted upon the frame, not counting weapons. You got any tips on making strong articulations?RoC77 wrote:The frame looks kool, but not to sure about the elbow & ankle joints. They look like they might be weak points later on when you bulk her up.

The old click-joints from the exo-force sets. Very strong.BFenix wrote:Probably, I might have to make some adjustments, mainly because I will have lots of bricks mounted upon the frame, not counting weapons. I was thinking of something stronger. A balance between basic exoforce frames and teknomeka (natalyas AC)Robot Monkey wrote:The old click-joints from the exo-force sets.
