So you want someone to grab your tileset and start another game? That may be asking for trouble, I'd preapprove them first.

And I'd be right on top of this if I wasn't playing in yours already.

Time for some new additions to the equipment list, drafted while I was supposed to be reviewing a practice AP exam that I utterly failed. It's amazing how much not wanting to do something can lead to wnoderful progress elsewhere, eh?

A load of new scrolls (the Litany series is unfinished, but you can see where it's going):

Scroll of Passage: Creates a door over a wall tile of your choice in the room you are standing at the time that you use this scroll. If the door connects to a previously explored room, it opens automatically.

Scroll of the Poor Man's Wish:
Creates a chest on an empty floor tile in the room you are standing at the time that you use this scroll.

Scroll of the Last Wish: To use this scroll, you must sacrifice 2 AP, 2 HP, or a point of any of your attributes. Once done, you may:
-=- create 1 piece of equipment (allocating bonus points, aspects, and blessings/curses as normal), or

-=- Replace 1 tile with a tile of a different type (including traps), or

-=- Change your Class. Restrictions and abilities of your new Class take place immediately.

Litany of the Seraphim: Creates a Flachion item in your inventory with two bonus points (allocated by you upon creation) and the Elemental Aspect of Fire. This item disappears irreversibly after three previously unexplored rooms have been completed.

Litany of World's Reach: Creates a Longbow item in your inventory with two bonus points (allocated by you upon creation) and the Elemental Aspect of Air. This item disappears irreversibly after three previously unexplored rooms have been completed.

I'm also working on perfecting a system for loot that uses a Common-Rare scale to make some items more likely to show up in chests than others. This is mostly for the electronic version (which, by the way, is almost underway; we just need one more programmer on-board and we'll be set).

this is win. a great way to deal with the class changing, I like it.

This game is insanely hard but also very addicting. I was freaking out for most of my 3-hour run. Some more health potions would be much appreciated.

Haha! It's good that it's hard, though; teaches tactics. Good stuff, glad you had a good time. I consider flipping a shit for 3 hours over something like this an accomplishment.

I stuck a d6 and d8 in my pocket, shook it up (d6 in right, d8 in left to avoid clacking), pulled it out in my cupped hand ( :twss: ), and the first number I saw was my roll.

Or you can just use the sticky note dice, like the rest of us...

No, I use real dice too... but that's when I'm not trying to be sneaky (which is all the time).

Worst comes to worst, just ask the person sitting next to you to pick a random number between 1 and 6. I've done that a few times.

I didn't want to go to all the trouble of making the dice out of notecards, so I went with what I had.

luckily, I have an eraser shaped like a die, so nobody really cares. that and I go to a school that could care less whether or not I am actually paying attention :D

In my opinion, the sticky notes are worth it once you spend the time to make them. I need to be sneaky, since my school actually gives a crap if you're paying attention or not.

I mostly spend my time playing at home, and spend my time in school formulating new ways to torment my players- erm.

I never play at home, and I spend my time at school playing my quick-PD system (rules for that up later) and devising new rules and stuff.

I was always wondering if you actually worked at NORAD.
