Name: S Josten
Age: 13
Gender: Male
Location: Nashville
Transportation: A truck that's big enough to be lived in for a week.

I'm homeschooled, so I might be able to talk my parents into hosting. If there actually are any Lego Cons going on though, we should probably piggyback them.

If it's anywhere near me (i.e. Chicago), I could definitely host a few people in my house (probably up to 4).

I'd been tired, under
the weather, but the ansaphone kept screaming:
One more sick-note, mister, and you're finished. Fired.
I thumbed a lift to where the car was parked.
A Vauxhall Astra. It was hired.

I picked him up in Leeds.
He was following the sun to west from east
with just a toothbrush and the good earth for a bed.
The truth he said, was blowin' in the wind,
or round the next bend.

I let him have it
on the top road out of Harrogate - once
with the head, then six times with the krooklok
in the face - and didn't even swerve.
I dropped it into third

and leant across
to let him out, and saw him in the mirror
bouncing off the kerb, then disappearing down the verge.
We were the same age, give or take a week.
He'd said he liked the breeze

to run its fingers
through his hair. It was twelve noon.
The outlook for the day was moderate to fair.
Stitch that, I remember thinking,
you can walk from there.

I really like that poem; I don't think I've read it before... who's it by?
I've actually hitched before, and really enjoyed the experience.

By freight-hopping, do you mean riding around in boxcars like hobos? I know someone who's done that.
An army marches on its stomach, and its favorite food is fudge.

Yeah, that is what I mean, and I know several people who have done it and who still do it sometimes.

And thanks for the sauce on the poem, dilanski!

Right mates, St. Louis as a location is out since I'm moving. I turn it over to the much more capable hands of the Reverend and his friends.

*hums Final Countdown under his breath*

For those who need to be reminded, I believe Redcap's Corner is still planning Philadelphia's Pilot Brikwar on August 20th. This will be the best opportunity to grease the 'official' wheels for next year's game of RAGNABLOK which you are already planning to go to. Get Redcap's game on the calender and bring the heat to PA, we need some more recruits for the war to end all wars.

Also, Stubby, we need to hit up Redcap or Rev. Sylvanus for the specifics so you can plonk an announcement on the front page. I'm sure he's been planning to alert us, but the more time others have to plan is the best.

Also, the big players all need to find a time to get on Chat, so we can bang out some game mechanics to keep it running smoothly.

Here we go!
