This is an awesome game that I have personally played hundreds of times, in the days before computers, cable tv, dice, etc...
War game
I felt it needed its own thread. "Due to its simplicity, it is played most often by children."

It's interesting that War uses the French playing card deck. Seems sort of like an oxymoron.

The last game of war I played was nine days ago, and I came back from 7 cards to winning it. We were bored.

I've played this a bit way back, but then i realized cards games are best with large amounts of cash involved.

War sucks.
Egyptian Ratscrew, however, can be immense fun.

Problem with that game is there is no thinking to it. Once the cards are dealt, all is decided.

The main problem is the lack of updates.
