This is one of the best castles I've seen in a while.

While this is a great castle, i am unsure I would say it is the best. It would make my top ten though from a "let's play a BrikWar game on it" point of view. :D

I like the first castle mush better as a whole, but I like the individual buildings in Minas Tirith.

But for both castles, I had this reaction:

They had Minas Tirith at Brickworld, along with The Eye of Sauron and the Mines of Moria. The guy had set up a giant siege scene in front of Minas Tirith, he even had the Oliphants and Eastalings.

I think there are two kinds of Castles I have seen out on th enet that impress me. There are the Art MOCs. These are great to look at but would be bad for true WarGame use. I admire the details and efforts that go into them. Then there is the great WarGame terrain MOCs. These look like they would work well for battles, lots of space to get in and move figures etc.

Some Castles (or other MOCS) have some of both, but most really seem to lean one way or another. :D

well 2 of the castles I like are by the same builder:

Those are awesome castles. Krak des Chevaliers is one of my favorites in RL. Another one of my all time favorite lego castles is this http://www.oocities.org/edboxer/castle.html

While both of those castles are really big and awesome and stuff, I feel that they lack some color to give them more character.
