How duels work: the combatants will fight each other for a number of rounds, until both have used all their abilities and weapons. The one that deals the most successful hits (thus, hits that also deal enough damage) in this time wins. All figs have unique abilities and stats.
Round 1 Fight 1
Blood Daemon (Finn_striker) vs. Falx Death Seeker (Runswithlegos)
A lone Falx Death Seeker is navigating the Blood Daemension. A defunct portal has caused him to be split off from his squad, and he is now searching a way back towards his companions. He is wary and keeping his axe ready, for Demons are the age-old enemies of the Falx.
Falx Death Seekers are shock troops armed with vicious axes, able to keep up with most other units despite their heavy armour and especially deadly when charging. The warrior suddenly stopped upon noticing movement up ahead.
From one of the streams, a Blood Daemon was beginning to rise, and he looked mighty pissed off.
No wonder really: he'd been late for dinner and sent away by his wife to find his own food.
What seemed like a bad day suddenly turned into a promising one as this foolish mortal suddenly presented itself, however. As a bonus, this would solve his food problem.
Without hesitation, the Blood daemon summoned his Fire sword, a devastating yet difficult to wield weapon, and spiked shield, useful in both defence as offense. Apart from that, he also had his blood existence and blood magic to rely on.
He called out to the Death Seeker in a demonic tongue the Falx could not comprehend, but the message was clear: it was a challenge.
The Death Seeker answered him with a battle cry of his own, and did what he did best: he charged, as the Blood Daemon plotted to catch his charge on his shield and let him impale himself on the spike...
... but the Death Seeker was just a little bit quicker, surprising the Daemon with a sudden stab that slipped just past his defence. The tip sunk deep into the creature's body and the force knocked him over.
Disrupted and left in a precarious position, the Blood Daemon attempted to use his blood magic to escape, but crit-failed just as the Death Seeker was raising his axe for the finishing blow...
Luckily his armour withheld the strike.
The Daemon regained his composure and swung his fire sword, but missed...
He caught the Death Seeker's own attack on his shield.
The Daemon then tried to push his adversary over with his shield while simultaneously stabbing him with the pike, but the Falx warrior didn't budge an inch.
... and the counter-attack caught the Daemon in the neck
Even as he fell to the ground once more, the creature still managed to catch the second axe strike on his shield.
He got up and used his Blood Magic, and the Falx suddenly started choking for air as the Daemon manipulated his blood into entering his lungs...
But then the Death Seeker put all of his remaining strength into a final strike that decapitated the Daemon, ending his foul magic and now really ruining his day.
The Falx roared in victory as the Daemon dissolved before him, becoming one with the bloody land. He could now return to his squad.
Falx Death Seeker (RunsWithLegos) is the victor with 2 successful hits versus 1 and continues to the next fight!

AotD Death Knight (Pwnerade) vs. Fire Wraith (Ogel96)
After Phineus the Necromancer's defeat, the remains of his army were dispersed and wandered mindlessly, like this Fire Wraith...
His aimless journey brought him to a valley where the skeletons of defeated warriors burned in fiery pits, apparently still writhing in pain even in death. What kind of malevolent spirit could rule such a place?
Undaunted by the carnage, the wraith continued his path, until a sight ahead of him caused him to bring his horse to a stop...
There was a sentry ahead... A Death Knight!
Without thought, both undead reacted immediately hostile, charging for each other.
Just as he got near however, the Wraith's fire lance erupted in flames.
The Death Knight withstood the initial damage, but the fire damage that followed dealt him a hit.
As skillful in death as he was in life, the Death Knight quickly turned his horse and fled briefly to regain his composure for the charge. The wraith was still on his heels, so he reached for another weapon...
As he turned again, the Death Knight drew the axe back and threw...
*twack* It hit, but didn't pierce.
With the both of them now out of tricks, they engaged in a joust again.
In the aftermath of the brutal clash the Deathlance was driven deep into the Fire Wraith's body (2 hits!) but the Death Knight was knocked off his horse, and disrupted...
As he closed in the wraith used this opportunity to fire his head gem... ineffectively.
He jumped down and slashed with his firesword, but was parried. The Death Knight drew his sword back for a counter...
... and slashed the Wraith in the neck. Devastatingly (2 more hits!).
As the Knight attacked on his round, the Wraith took a risk and chose to parry and riposte...
... failing both, even though he took no further damage. The Wraith then channeled his final trump card, his fire magic...
And failing horribly, succumbed to his injuries and crashed to the ground, where the Death Knight, silent in victory, took no chances and made sure he stayed dead.
Death Knight is the victor with 4 hits (actually two devastating ones) against one!
