They look fugly and cheap. Maybe if they were a tone darker and not so glossy.

COGO does those already in a tan colour with a nice matt finish.

But I could not find COGO for sale without buying their sets.

Just use a combo of 1x2 flats, and 1x1 flat rounds, alternating, forming a pyramid. then bend it. you have perfect sandbags that don't look like megablox.

Is the color that bad IRL? I know sometimes photos and on-screen colors can look different than they do IRL... that color is nasty on screen.

They look okay, but I'm gonna have to agree that they look almost exactly like the clone brick sandbags. It would have been cooler if they had made a new type.

Really? I thought that looked more like Bricks to me. They use that pattern in many curved castle walls over on the Classic Castle forum. But if that looks like sand bags to you, great.

If they're in sand color it looks like sandbags.

Thanks oneeye. I didn't feel like digging around flickr for a photo, but that's exactly what I was talking about. And hob: this is lego. If you don't like pixellated images, maybe you shouldn't be building with this

That one actually looks like it could stop bullets. The other one has holes.

Thanks OneEye589. Now that I can see it in Tan, I agree this is a nice solution without going with a costly $1 a bag solution.

Like I said, they both are pretty good. If I went and bought stuff from BrickTW, I'd probably buy a bag or two of theirs.
For a pure Lego solution, I'd also try 1x3 plates instead of the 1x2.
