Hopklis Nur Turn 3
Since AlphaLurker has not sent in orders for the Battle Droids I will be giving his spot away to someone more consistent. Another option would be that the droids malfunctioned and are no longer in operation.
AlphaLurker, if you send orders, confirm in this thread that they were sent.

I actually applaud this idea because the militia sucked ass and the droids are epic game-breakers =)Semaj Nagirrac wrote:Another option would be that the droids malfunctioned and are no longer in operation.

The droids are good, yes, but gamebreaking, I wouldn't say so. I would say what puts the good guys in this match at such a disadvantage is their positioning, Warhead and his troops have the high ground in this match. However, neither side knows exactly what is going to come out of that temple yet. Somehow, I don't think it is going to be friendly.
Also, looking back over the sign-up topic, the droids are alright stat-wise, but certainly not better than what the side of good/Avalon have to field and, the droids don't have any heavy weapons either. I think that the droids will prove necessary to make this an interesting battle, as they are the bulk of Warhead's army here.
We also haven't had any of the good ranged troops get into range of the droids yet. This is actually fairly well balanced, but the irregulars chose to rush towards the side of the hill with the ranged kill bots, rather than the side defended by the ninja, who have no long-range options, which is why they were ineffective. Of course, however, seeing them all get shot down was pretty awesome, and they aren't out of the game yet. I, at least would like to the see battle to it's conclusion, without outside factors eliminating an entire faction with no carnage.

I think it would be much more amusing if the droids malfunctioned randomly. Moving in random directions, shooting random targets...Semaj Nagirrac wrote:Another option would be that the droids malfunctioned and are no longer in operation.

This is for two reasons.Lord Mercat wrote:but the irregulars chose to rush towards the side of the hill with the ranged kill bots, rather than the side defended by the ninja, who have no long-range options, which is why they were ineffective. 6. I'm taking fire off of the important guys.
7. The only good victory is a pyrrhic victory.

Well, I heavily disagree. I don't think the entire outcome of a battle should change just because someone didn't show up to post orders.
However, this being brikwars, I think that Semaj should make a "what I say goes roll" for it. Should it succeed, they malfunction, if not, I or someone else can take over. Regardless, I will stand by whatever Semaj decides, as it is his forum battle, and he is going through a lot of trouble to bring it to us.
