HUGE civilization scenario

Post by samuelzz10 » Fri Nov 04, 2011 7:09 pm

hey guys I've been working on a scenario where you can discover teck
and claim land but it isn't finished yet. anyways, I've barely touched the surface on what this scenario could be and so to help I was wondering if you guys wanted to post tecks to add to the scenario. (I might as well call it a supplement, it is already 5 pages)

Anyways, here is a teck template:

Teck:
Turns to discover:
Turns to create: (if it is a specialized unit)
Requires: (the teck you need before this one)
Teck description:
Tier 1:
(what the default teck does)
Tier 2: (write how many turns it takes to discover here)
(an improvement on tier 1)

Example:
Teck: Lazer weaponry
Turns to discover: 10
Requires: chemistry
Lazer weaponry is any weapon that uses a lazer,
like those blasters in starwars.
Tier 1:
you can make lazer pistols
Tier 2: (3 turns)
you can make lazer rifles and snipers
Tier 3: (8 turns)
your weapons get +3 to all attacks
Tier 4: (3 turns)
you can make lazer swords

What the Hell? No laser swords?
But yes, I like. Very much.

:whoelse: :godwin: I like your idea
Here is another tech:(for med-evil and so(for the OTWeaponry you can use it always, tough )

Tek: Metal Krafting
Turns to discover: 6
Requires: mining tier 1
Metal Krafting let's you to make weapons out of metal.
(gold,iron,copper,bronze...(Orange Transparent ABS is in this too!!! :666: ))
Tier 1:
you can make swords
Tier 2: (2 turns)
you can make spears and halberds
Tier 3: (4 turns)
you can make chainsaws, bayonets, maces, warhammers, and everything else...
Tier 4: (4 turns)
you can make guns (rifles...(badly, you cannot use them in combat as they don't have ammo(you need gunnery for that(except if they are OTC launchers))))
Tier 5: (5 turns)
your weapons get +1 to all attacks

Edit:OT weapons are my weak point... THEY ARE SO AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Double Edit:
And here is Mining

Tek: Mining
Turns to discover: 7
Requires: basic tools
Mining let's you dig in the ground for metal (you need to be near a mountain to place a mining facility)
(gold,iron,copper,bronze...(Orange Transparent ABS is in this too!!! :666: ))

Tier 1:
you can mine bronze (that is copper and tin) , permits you to research Metal Krafting
Tier 2: (2 turns)
you can mine iron
Tier 3: (4 turns)
you can mine gold and everything else (except OT-ABS)
Tier 4: (1 turn)
you can mine :666: OT-ABS

Here is Basik Tools and Gunnery:

Tek: Basik Tools
Turns to discover:1
Requires: The Almighty Minifig
Let's you make basik tools
Tier 1:
Let's you make basik tools and research all teks that need this

Tek: Gunnery
Turns to discover: 10
Requires: Metal Krafting tier 4
Gunnery is used to make ammo for guns and upgrade them
Tier 1:
you can make muskets, pistols, rifles and basic ammo
Tier 2: (4 turns)
you can make canons, shotguns and canonballs and gunpowder barrels
Tier 3: (8 turns)
you can make snipers, assault rifle and MkI explosives
Tier 4: (4 turns)
you can make MkI missiles, MkII and MkIII explosives
Tier 5: (3 turns)
you can make all explosives and up to MkIV missiles
Tier 6: (12 turns)
enables all kind of :666: bombs/explosives and lets you research :666: lazer weaponry (kind of replaces chemistry(bombs are CHEMISTRY!!!))

edit:
changes to Lazer weaponry:

Tek: Lazer weaponry
Turns to discover: 10/Already Researched if you have gunnery tier 6
Requires: chemistry/gunnery
Lazer weaponry is any weapon that uses a lazer,
like those blasters in starwars.
Tier 1:
you can make lazer pistols and lazer CC weapons (sword,...)
Tier 2: (3 turns/Already Researched if you have gunnery tier 6 )
you can make lazer rifles and snipers
Tier 3: (8 turns)
your weapons get +3 to all attacks

Write tek with a K at the end, its more briKwarsy

Why would anyone take lasers if they are almost the same as guns? I think it would be much, much smarter to churn out explosives than chase after +3 damage.

I like this idea, but not as a standard brikwar, with minifigs and such. However, I could see this pulled off easily with micro units.

Reminds me of Civilization. I actually bet that the original intention was to mimic it.

Tek:The :666: almighty :666: MINIFIG

Tier 2: Already Researched
