December 18th. BR 2011. The planets of the Saban System lie in opposition, and plots make themselves known, as this is an occurrence that only happens once in a thousand years...
FELC Worldfiles Database wrote:The Saban System is a major resource for the Core Crystal movement. Core Crystals, the green, shining blades used by infantry throughout the Brikverse provide an effortless method for advanced infantry weaponry. It is rumored that the original Nova Blade was crafted from a Core Crystal.
The power of a Core Crystal is directly relative to the time it is harvested- on Saban, the furthest planet from it's system's sun, it depends on the gravitic patterns of the system's four planets. Dec. 18th will be the day of maximum power. We expect raids from no less than thirty factions on Saban Hold, currently a neutral trade center. Advise withdraw from Saban airspace to minimize troop losses.
Saban is a hostile planet, with a resource valuable in the day-to-day warfare of the Immortal War. On the 18th, FELC Command will attempt to capture footage of the war hitting Saban, the day of maximum resources.FELC Command Order Line wrote:At the Fleet Admiral's discretion, Operation code name Forever Day will take place on Saban to attempt to harvest what limited materials we can from the Hold. It will be a high-risk hit and run mission. Casualties are expected, SHEATH-Class Stealth Fighters to be on hand to record actions over Saban. Stand by for further orders.
Rules for this short-notice challenge:
-This isn't exactly a battle, more an opportunity to mess with the factions you have on hand.
-There won't be a winner of this battle. Just your individual reports.
-Saban has many Holds scattered across it's surface. Prominent features are wide-open plains outside of the Holds, the low-quality neon green Core Crystals left lying about from mining operations, and the small mining Holds themselves.
-Command doesn't have many ships on hand to record footage. 5 pictures for each action report will suffice.
-Tell a story of the minor engagement you recorded in your post.
-Submit the pictures and story below.
