The Brittanians

The Brittanians rushed the lab.

Marshal Jones couldn't increase range, so only a few shots were fired.

Banner saved his buddy by conjuring up an energy shield in midair.

The crusader missed, but luckily for the Brittanians they had another hero.

Rolys the Dashing: "Fire, boys! Make them count!"

Even though the Knight is more like a warrior than a natural leader, it worked and the rest of the Brittanian host now also opened fire.

One point of damage too much despite the block became Banner's bane. His buddies were more lucky.

The Assyrians

Image

Much to everyone's surprise, the Assyrians turned to fire en masse on the peaches.

Image

Seras dodged one shot but paid the ultimate price for failing her parry roll, Sharane lost a hit point.

Major Skarr: "Have some more, you peach tart! Hasta la vista!"

Sharane crumpled down as she was hit again, brought down to her final hitpoint by the BFG.

Indigineous tribes

Chewbakka roared another prayer to the dung god.

One wolf was drowned in poo.

Image

Two more furbeasts made it up, firing on the Wolves, while their leader rushed to fight the Captain.

The axe connected but seemed unable to push through the Captain's iron-like skin.

When he struck back, Chewbakka's bowkaster got in the way.

Inquistadore shock troops

Image

Outside two Assyrians got chopped up as the vengeful Elites brought their chainstaffs down on them. Luckily for Skarr he was out of range of any of them.

Schwarzenegger fired some explosive ammo, killing two Brittanians.

Victoria fell further back up the stairs while her buddies guarded the doorway.

The Wolves fired back, blasting down a shock trooper.

Marshal Johanna found Furbeasts on her way to a window. Not a problem the Nova Claymore can't handle, you'd think.

Unless you roll 3 1's for damage.

The Captain stabbed Chewbakka repeatedly, but didn't manage to truly harm him.

Conquistadores

Angelica's battalion went for the landing pad entry.

Sprint rolls got the Duchess and her lieutenant this far.

The mass of conquistadores followed as well as they could.

Immortals

The Terrorkhan flew over to the towers and fired down on the Jaegers, but somehow their hats stopped the shots.

The others fired on the Assyrians. Major Skarr was hit!

To make matters worse, Sharane had gathered the last of her powers and was somersaulting towards him.

As she came down on Skarr, the colonel plunged one of her power blades straight through him. His death scream was drowned out by the sound of roaring engines however...

Secret faction activated: Shadow of the Red Baron!

Above the command centre a ghostly flightcraft appeared: the Shadow of the Red Baron!

With machine guns blazing, he dove towards the conquistadores.

The machine guns were so far insufficient, but when the Red Baron threw down flames on the fly-by two men were burnt to death.

"What the hell is that?" (Angelica gains 2 vengeance points)

"We'll need to capture the command centre quickly! If we disable the ion cannon, we'll be able to bring in vehicles of our own!"
Objective: reinforcements wrote:If there is no Prussian at the Ion Cannon controls for two rounds, the Inquistadores will be able to bring in vehicles.
Lab specimens

Troll flew over to the battlements, firing with the heavy bolter, but this time damage failed him.

He then hopped into cover.

Sir Bragallot set his tank sniper to overdrive.

Two All-Rounders were blasted down.

The mad scientist then went over here and pushed some buttons.

The antennae on this mysterious building began to buzz as they received a signal.

The hatch opened, no doubt to reveal something nasty.

Oh no, Ripperbots! Two were destroyed by counters, but they also took down an All-Rounder and a blue beret, and chipped a hitpoint off Marshal Jones.

Making use of the distraction, Basher ambushed Sir Rolys.

He had the nova sword...

But it didn't help because Basher's rolls were on fire. So many huge damage rolls this game.

Flamer flew back up towards the battlements, spewing more flames at the knights as they fired back at him with their laser maces.

Meanwhile two Emoks arrived on a flyer as reinforcements for the indigenous tribes.

Still need orders for the Fort Garrison and the VoL.

Fort Garrison

Captain Alexander hurried up the battlements.

He leaped from the tower at Demonidus, nova sword buzzing with energy.

The VoL leader chose the safe option and parried with his scythe.

A Jaeger ran up the tower, but he found a Terrorkhan in his way.

The Jaegers and tower guard opened fire, grinding down another VoL.

The VoL

Image

Demonidus roared, resulting in -1 skill to the fort garrison's soldiers.

He dove down and struck Alexander, who caught the strike on his shield.

Image

Alexander again dealt a crushing blow, but the demon was made of tougher stuff than his 'predecessor'.

The VoL charged the narrow entrance. The wall of steel held for now.

Those remaining outside attacked at range, killing one

and two of the colonial militia.

The Einherjar scaled the tower and used his mindgrab ability.

Wo-o, Kommandant Von Blocke got a crappy roll.

Luckily for the garrison the Jaeger parried the attack. The control can be taken away by forcing the Einherjar's attention away.

House Del Montero

(npc'd again, they're still up for grabs)

Don Felipe crit-succeeded his feat and used one of his acquired vengeance points, effectively doubling the movement of both his squads. Sadly for them their sprint rolls sucked, but they're still getting dangerously close to the command center.

The assault troops scaled the walls and surprised the defenders, blasting one of the colonial militia.

Yeah, well spotted, he's based off that guy ;) I know the real one would just plow a hole through Chewbakka with his fists, but Brikwars has no unarmed combat.

For me, I treat a bad ass's fists as 2 hand weapons, or 1 2 hand weapon for the purpose of Mortal Kombat style-fatalities.
