A wall fell on him.

Generally when there is blunt trauma, there's all sorts of nasty hemorrhaging and disgusting crap that accumulates inside the newly-torn body cavities, and the pressure from that can sometimes lead to further injury (if something is keeping it all in, like, say, a skull) or just extreme discomfort and a long healing process that is susceptible to infection.


Just be happy it didn't happen to his brain, they would have had to drill a hole in his skull to reduce the pressure. Be even happier that he wasn't a caveman, they found one out there who had that surgery performed on him. With no anesthetic. And a pointy bit of rock for a scalpel.

Yeah, i heard about treppaning, they found loads of skulls with holes in them, apparently some show signs of healing, which means that they sometimes survived the process. All to release bad spirits. Sounds fun...
