Re: Pocket Dungeon
Ah yes, very enjoyable. But agin, it was before the purge... Side note: would anyone be ish-interested in PD with Heroica figures? because I bet construction of dungeon would be pretty neat with that small of a scale... and I have several Heroica figures. so.

I had the same idea, actually but I never ran a game with it. I'm up but I call thief!

Sure, sign me up! I'll fill whatever role the rest of the party leaves open.

Re: Pocket Dungeon
If you do decide to use Heroica you could create a few different room types (which they do in the game itself anyway). I remember in the castle there are the weird rooms with stairs and the library rooms and a few other generic ones. When generating the dungeon each roll could be some such generic room that gets rolled and the 30th is the boss chamber which you can make special. It may add a bit more coherence and make things easy to run.
Also how would you deal with treasure chests? I guess as long as players can freely trade items around it's no problem.
I wish I had my Heroica stuff with me now... maybe I can buy some sets in Hong Kong when I visit next week...

Re: Pocket Dungeon
Well, I have... a thief, a red mage, a druid, a knight, and a barbarian. And a collection of orcs.
Inventory will have to be separate, and I might have some 'giant' monsters, because I don't have very many small figures. If you guys post which fig and class you want, we can plot this up. Spots are reserved for Oloth and Ross, if they want in though. As for the dungeon creation, I'd rathe rit be just a D&D type thing, where I kind of make a plot first, and then built the dungeon.

Heck yeah I'm in! I'll be away over the weekend, though, so perhaps start Monday? You can kit my character out to fit the Mage, though.

http://gunth.com/brickquest/ Don't know if y'all have seen this but this may be useful in building a dungeon. A lot of it isn't as important in micro-scale but he has some good ideas.

No harm done, I'm pretty sure Mike hasn't updated that part of the website since 2005.

Re: Pocket Dungeon
Ok, so we have a thief and a rogue. BTW, the cleric is also a legitimate option as well, and all classes might get some additional powers later upon my discretion.

Great. Midterms on tuesday onwards next week, so no pictures, but planning is still a go.

Re: Pocket Dungeon
So, guess what I just found lying around in a backup drive?
All the Pocket Dungeon sprites that I used for Visage and etc. Anyone up for another play-by-post Dungeon run?

Re: Pocket Dungeon
Sure, why not. It's been ages since I last played a dungeon crawl. (That is, if you don't count the Diablo clone I played last night.)
