I might have to steal the design for those scorprions . . .
And the Warrior is . I wanna see it eat some people!

Actually, the U-clips are way cooler than words can describe, and they're only a quarter each. Definitely worth the buy.
Meanwhile, this stuff is totally awesome! who cares if the torsos look a little funny, those workers are STILL the shit!

Yeah, I really love the way they turned out.Pwnerade wrote:I might have to steal the design for those scorprions . . .

But I don't know if the Warrior will wasted her attack using her jaws on a single minifig when she can blast the whole lot of them with her machine-guns.
(Speaking of, how would I stat the Warrior and her weapons? Do her jaws count as two melee weapons or just one?)
Jeez, a quarter a pop?IVhorseman wrote:Actually, the U-clips are way cooler than words can describe, and they're only a quarter each. Definitely worth the buy.

That's a bit rich for my blood.
And I can't believe people like the Worker so much, hasn't anyone made a Dridder before?

Just one big one. When the warrior bites down on something, you don't want to make separate attack rolls for each half of the jaw, right?Whiteagle wrote:(Speaking of, how would I stat the Warrior and her weapons? Do her jaws count as two melee weapons or just one?)

Re: Tairin Federation
Went and tried to refine the Worker's model, mostly to experiment with the waist but I ended up swiching out the plates hanging down from the top piece for some fenders.
The waist experiment in question.
I was trying to see if those studs with holes would work...
They do, but said studs only come in white.
So do these changes work better, or should I be glad I never saved this model?

A new potential Bug unit has arrived:
I realised it's a bit odd the Arachnid Empire didn't have any airborne creatures, so tried to build something with wings and scimitar mandibles.
I'm thinking of calling it the Hunter.

Ok, now I feel the need to make an airborne creature for the Ilun Taldea to compete. Nice work!

...Those black wings are currently going for $10 US EACH on Bricklink.
Re: Tairin Federation
That is directed to both the creation and the price of the wings.

Re: Tairin Federation
Since Buckbeak's wings aren't a viable option for the Hunter, I decided to try some brick built ones instead.
I added an extra set to try for a Dragonfly look, but I'm not attached to them.
Let me know what works and what doesn't.
