TradeTown Rumble
top thread: http://www.brikwars.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=5171
[sorry if this is at all confusing, i miss-uploaded the pictures leading them to be scrambled in my photo stream, i have sorted most of it out, but if you find anything out of place please tell me.]
Welcome to the northern Trade Town of Bloodsands, people from all the surrounding TInyTowns come here to do all matters of business, from fairs to weapon sales, this town has it all.
On this fine day two miners consult some detrius they dug up, a magician wows a small crowd, a gang looks to buy some weapons, a mob hit is under way, a contract is being written up, and all is normal
WHEN SUDDENLY
A group of blood thirsty skeletons pop into the middle of town, lead by The Jester they plan to kill everything in their path.
they leap into action.
The Viking critically fails and skewers himself. the digger blocks his attackers blow as the race car driver is beheaded by an obscenely powerful crossbow shot.
the dark-dragon spearman turns the police chief into a shish kebab
The Jester pops a mobster's head.
Every one outside takes notice of these horrendous beasts
But the Mobsters do not, and Louie eats lead.
The man reading the book bolts up after hearing the Chief's scream, as do the two men discussing a contract, they draw their knives as The Magicians crowd storms into the shop and tries to convince every one inside that they are under attack [I rolled for belief/notice for every civ]
they succeed in convincing the shoppers and the shopkeeper.
a Mysterious Man climbs the guard tower and shoots at a skellie, missing
the battle rages, and a Skellie is krumped
The ork Skeleton dives in for a kill.
the archers ready to kill as the dragon halberdier and the spearskellie charge
a mobster is shot, a digger skewered and a civilian got his head popped
A narrow miss, a nother kill and one skelli shooting it's self in the face with a bow.

Re: TradeTown Rumble [Necromancer's War]
The now armed civilians charge into town.
the Spear skelie is beheaded.
The magician summons a boulder burning with Majikul flames.
and tosses it at the archer, it does not kill the bag-o-bones but traps it.
one of the knifemen ready's to chuck his knife
and misses horribly.
the Undead Ork chops the gangster up and the Adventurer is Cross-bowed
Scarface-mario meats a similar fate
the table the knifemen put up to block the door is shattered
And The Jester Botches a spell, and summons a chunk of glass wich pings of the Mysterious Man's head
THe Civillians go all out with their counter attack,
The MIner beheads a swordSkellie, The Magician sends the Ork flying and the Gang's leader losses his sword in a botched attack
the knifemen Rip apart the Skelli and The Mysterious Man's shot is blocked
The Jester ready's another spell and the archer struggles to escape
down in the vally the orc gets up, and claims another victim and the archer off's the so far non-leathle Magician. The trapped Skellie struggles some more and catches aflame
The Ganger's gut is torn apart by a uber-powerful strike [4 6's in a row] and The Mysterious Man is slammed by the spell!
He is Turned!!!
The civillians open up and move up.
The ork is blown apart by the shopkeeper's shotgun.
and the floppy armed' archer is blasted.
the flames spread
The crossbowmen get's to cover and readys a shot as The Jester and The Undead Mysterious Man move up.
the last gangster is popped through the grate floor of the tower
and the knife men are killed swiftly
the surviving Civilians shoot to kill, and one ends up killing himself when he overclocks his las-carbine and it exploads in his hand
The Jester is Silenced and the guard tower takes a hit.
the flames finally consume the Skelliton.
the skeletons return fire is useless
as is the Civilians'
And the Skeletons take the opportunity to end the fight.
SKELETONS WIN
AS the Blood cools and the dust settles sudden spikes of teleportation energy crown the stone cliff
ZAP!!!
the Necromancer and his War Host Teleports into the town
Good work my minions... my conquest can now begin anew!!!

Re: TradeTown Rumble
Quite a good battle! I like all the skeletons. It would be cool to see a few more battles along this line with some of these other factions.

Re: TradeTown Rumble
it is indeed a imitation brand, but it is big and compatible so there is no reason not to use it.
Re: TradeTown Rumble
From the looks of it, I think it came off a block building table.

Re: TradeTown Rumble
Aha! I checked for the weird long annoying bits on the sides where studs should be, and it was there!
I have this exact baseplate. It is official LEGO, but it comes from one of their building tables like Whiteeagle says. It was removable from the table, so naturally I ditched the table and kept the baseplate.

Re: TradeTown Rumble
If it's from LEGO then why does mine have the word "BRIK" on the underside?

Ok, first of all...IVhorseman wrote:Aha! I checked for the weird long annoying bits on the sides where studs should be, and it was there!

IT'S WHITEAGLE!
CONJOINED "E"!!!
Second, I'd question why you'd get rid of the table, then I realised that this plate doesn't have annoying pegs on the bottom to keep it in place.
