Re: BFenix's Artwork Thread
A scene where a lone adventurer lurks into the dark lair of Rage, the Forgotten Blood Blade. Possibly to loot. Poor soul. Not aware of the untold horrors that protect the haunted weapon.
Obviously within my Steelpunk theme. A slight improvement in my digital skills, don't you think?

Re: BFenix's Artwork Thread UPDATE: 29/1
It's definitely nice... at least the parts I can see. I think there's too much black, and the adventurer guy is too far back, and is almost hidden. Bring him out of the shadows, because at the moment it just looks like a picture of a sword. I also think the stairs need some more depth.

Re: BFenix's Artwork Thread UPDATE: 29/1
I, for one, sort of like the fact that the adventurer is hidden. It means you have to actually LOOK at the piece in order to take something from it, rather than glance at it and move on.
Good job, BF!
EDIT: Also, I'd like to point out that using the word "hidden" here is an overstatement. He's a completely different shape from the things around him, and is therefore noticeable to anyone with, y'know... eyes, or half the brain to use them.

Both arguments are valid. Although Olly got most of it right. It is supposed to be a dark environment, so actually noticing the few and subtle details apart from the sword requires attention.aoffan23 wrote:It's definitely nice... at least the parts I can see. EDIT: Oh, and thanks for the feedback guys, much appreciated.

I'm working on the Fantasy one, but last night's Sci-Fi really inspired me. The party consisted of "slightly" generic characters, mainly the 40K related ones. This is my take on their looks, but their class pretty much nails it.
