Adlersflügel
The waterbinder focused a huge spell...
It was too much for him and he collapsed (will need a round to recover).
The crossbowmen continued their advance.
The cavalry didn't fail so much in their fight against the crossbowmen, it was rather the crossbowmen that fought back like badasses and even dealt the knights some nasty hits, but then pummeling an armoured knight to death with a crossbow is a nigh impossible task
Bull Main
Voytek unleashed a true hail of bolts on the enemy knights all by himself, killing two. Yeah, he's that good.
The general charged Lord Goeting...
His attack was powerful enough to kill a lesser man three times over, but then Lord Goeting is not a lesser man, and parried most of the damage, even though it almost knocked him over.
"ALL RIGHT YOU WHORESONS! THIS FIGHT'S NOT OVER YET. GET OFF YOUR ASSES!"
Perhaps it wasn't the best moment to say that.
The phalanx did get up off their own accord though and were none too amused by their general's death, getting extremely sweet rolls and obliterating both Goeting and the remaining firelancer. This is why Bulls Are Badass.
As the ballistae opened fire, Sir Jaiko suddenly thrust his sword into the air...
Much to his dismay, an engineer was picked up as if by the very air itself and flung in front of the ballista just as it fired. Painful.
The other ballista hit home.
In their haste, the Bulls broke their catapult. Bummer.
Lord Daerion
He fled, but he no doubt had a plan...
The rest of the round will follow soon.

Re: Blood in the Sand (Round 4)
Yeah they were, but what you were going to do next depended on what others did first, you basically saved your actions / feat and will probably use them as a response like Jaiko did earlier. Btw you also have 1 Drakhirri left in front of the Crimson cavalry.

Re: Blood in the Sand (Round 4)
lookit that, so he survived! Just have him throw his spear at one of the pikemen in that squad of two then. Can we still pick up weapons off the "dead" guys, or are those gone forever too?

Let's just say his spear may return to him in an equally inexplicable way to how the weapons an dead people disappeared in the first place.

Hey! I can't see it! Some shite about bandwidth??? I need wider bands... I'll just go look up the phone book and see if any play local.

I don't really get it either. I'd understand if they said: you uploaded too much stuff, bla bla bla, but bandwith exceeded because too many people watched the pics? Who visits my albums anyway?

Re: Blood in the Sand (Round 4)
It continues with the rest of the round: I need to remember to start taking smaller pictures.
The Drakhirri wanted to throw his spear.
Strange stuff happens if you crit fail.
Bull Elite
Marnix charged!
Due to Zahru-ish luck, he lost a HP to the knights instead of dealing any damage.
Crimson Knights (now actually Crimson!)
The ranged troops combined fire, killing both bodyguards.
The cavalry swerved around and charged the Bloodguard, but their rolls were kinda underwhelming, and the BG defended himself well.
Golden Lions
Musketeers and halberdiers reformed into one squad.
The pistoleers fired into the cavalry, killing two knights, but half of them actually failed so badly they shot the Bloodguard instead The King is going to be none too happy about that one.
Melisander, seeing the battle was deteriorating, attempted to summon a fiery creature.
She wasn't very effective: the summoned creature is no stronger than an ordinary footsoldier.
Stanis called the horses and together they moved back to join the rest of their force.
The Titan continued to chase after Daerion, who had prepared for just that...
But you can't really prepare for bad rolls. The titan picked him up...
And threw him neither very far nor very effectively, but the sheer height was enough to deal the knight a hit (-1 HP).

I just realized Grahel isn't on the Overwatch for some reason. Just pretend he's still where you last saw him.

Those bull infantry are probably gonna walk up and halberd me next turn so GG, but if I live I'm using a heroic feat to climb on the titan's back, put my sword up to his throat, and force him to fight as a subjugated creature (he gets his will back once I let go).
