Backed the project earlier in the week.

Also put a bricklink order in to adapt the Alltimate hardsuits in my collection to what looks like a more sturdy Chub shoulder frame plus more useful weapon options. Very excited for this game to come out! (An excitement that would only be rivaled by the release of Brikwars 2010 :warhead: )

I just read over your KickStarter site. This looks like some really badass table top epic war gaming awesomeness... well done guys. Can't wait to see some people playing this and posting about it.

So I've got ~$120 worth of Pick-A-Brick pruchases on their way to my house at the moment, in anticipation for the MFZ release. I plan on making one company for each of the three major factions, and I already have my first company complete (I had some minifig scale hardsuits lying around that I decided to convert because they were gathering dust).

If I put up an MFZ release battle report, will anyone read it?

EDIT: Just took some pictures of what I have so far... lightboxes are awesome.

And some weapons for when the parts for the Chub frames arrive...

Thanks. I'm personally not so happy with the arms, though. They're very awkward.

You should join our Flickr group; there are some pretty good ideas over there.

Pretty slick stuff overall. Hard to see the details because black blends in with black too well. The shots look rather dim; especially since you have a light box. More light?

The arms just seem so much bigger than the legs which makes them look top heavy which is the awkwardness I think you are referring too.

Keep the pics coming though; I love your builds!

I don't have the parts to support all 4 guys yet, but I did redo the legs on the Heavy Weapons Spec to be longer. Based on the Chub legs.

Redid the very disappointing jumpjets on Asada's Frame...

And gave the grunts their one-shot disposable rocket pods. Probably going to shorten them a bit so they look more natural.

Sorry about the photos, I got lazy and didn't feel like setting the lightbox back up.

Love the reworked legs. Honestly these photos look better... the features are mor defined. I think your light box needs more light. I use four 100watt full spectrum CFLs that are diffused with tissue paper... its ghetto fab but works well.

There is a large section of the Mobile Frame Zero wiki devoted entirely to mini-mecha builds.
