Nobody's arguing about whether or not governments do this, that's been the official forum position since long before you showed up.Bragallot wrote:Why would I give an example about how politicians and the media consciously make us care about imaginary problems and constantly point out our differences so we forget about raising our voice as one against actual problems like being extortionated and exploited by rich companies, banks and a wasteful government, I wonder... You can't seriously be this stupid. I've seen this obnoxious attitude before. I'm not inclined to post any longer.
The discussion in this thread, however, has always only been about the fact that you feel entitled to keep calling the legitimate suffering of actual people "imaginary problems" just because they don't happen to affect you personally. Please feel free to continue thinking everyone else is stupid and you're the only smart one though.
Next you'll object to calling water wet and fire warm, I'm not sure the obnoxious thing was a big secret.OneEye589 wrote:Did you seriously call Stubby obnoxious? Only because he doesn't agree with you?
Or I guess if you wanted to keep it topical, you can go ahead and object to the shocking revelation that the government and media manipulate us, which is just about as stupidly obvious.
