Due to the colour scheme, I must ask what faction it's for.Colette wrote:

Re: AN-TA War Microspace
If you try to run any 3D program more complex than a game that would run on an iphone, it will make your mac air burst into flames.
My game program runs at 204 fps on my desktop machine.
On a Mac Air it runs at 10 fps. If you try to actually edit terrain it drops to below 1fps.

Re: AN-TA War Microspace
Still currently a WIP:
Still need to flesh out the forces. I'm going to add Akkadians, Avalonians, maybe Siri Loyalists, and for the AN defenders I'll put in MASS and Zupponn.
@Tzan: No need, I discovered hiding the part of the field I'm not working on significantly helps, so for instance when I'm working on the TA forces I simply hide the AN and then it works like a charm.
@dilanski: You should know. This will be a "mirror" of the first battle, only with a couple lessons I've learned from Winter Has Arrived and a lot more cast members+awesome.
PS: I want everyone to tell me if they think the sides are balanced so far. I think MASS/Zupponn+Akkadians/Avalon will cancel each other out anyway.

WIP means Work In Progress
EDIT: Wait, there's a second page? Ooops.
Oh and Colette, I don't think Whiteagle's 4 winged ships are supposed to have the white base thingys.

Colette, could you add some Luchardsko ships in that? link: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=501547

Well the idea is that this design was originally a hive ship used to colonized new systems with those huge dangling drop pods, but when war broke out with the Tairin Federation it was adapted to grow small space combat forms (the black nose cones not connected to a pod) as well.dilanski wrote:Is it a conventional carrier, in that it's full of fighter craft, or like a hive ship? If the ships has a drill then It should be able to implant planets with giant sub-terran scorpion creatures which can give birth to mini-swarms.
Wow, you know it's going to be a good battle when a Conifer class in Annihilation Escort configuration looks small!Colette wrote:
Just hope your computer can handle it...
Actually, I think he re-colored them to Transparent, since they were originally light bley.Falk wrote:Oh and Colette, I don't think Whiteagle's 4 winged ships are supposed to have the white base thingys.
Thing is those aren't wings, they're arms, and their use kind of explains why Quadfighters would NOT be deployed right next to a Conifer class like that...
In fact, the program in charge of the BAS-N00bcrush3r (who you could ether represent with an Astromech figure or a computer screen brick) is probably going to be rather disgruntled about being deployed in the middle of a huge fleet like this.
...Might have to go over some stats with Colette...

Well, having that chunk o' briktoid dakka will sure help when we assault the shipyard. Looks like it'll be a good forum battle, Colette!
Re: AN-TA War Microspace
Since Colette is too lazy to switch my Quadfighters with Mass Produced Frigates in his massive set-up, I decided to build my own space assembly frame...
This is how Briktoid Automata is able to produce so many surplus frigates, the Mass Production Frigate Assembly Frame.
Space born debris is fed into this massive grinding maw, where it is broken down and conveyed to the primary component manufacturing sectors located along the central spine.
Here we see the first section of the production line, where powerful engines are attached to the Frigate's central power core and ether maneuvering thrusters or additional armor plating are added depending on the ship's load-out.
In the second section, the ship is armed with ether two medium rail-guns or two small twin beam turrets.
Rail-gun Frigates then have a standard neck attached, while Armored Beam Frigates instead receive a frilled armored neck to finish their plating.
In the final stage, the nose of the craft is affixed to complete the vessel.
And here is the finished product!
With sufficient materials, one Frigate Assembly Frame can create up to four Frigates a minute or 240 an hour.
This allows Briktoid Automata the ability to turn entire systems of space junk into massive armadas and how they can pass on savings like these to you the consumer.

Too lazy? Who the fuck do you think you are that you think you can just demand that someone do something and then bitch about it when they don't? Colette has put a lot of time and effort into this stuff already and doesn't need your bullshit.
And stop posting your shit in other peoples' threads. It's getting annoying. Make your own threads or GTFO.

Re: AN-TA War Microspace
Zupponn, calm down, I said myself I was being lazy about the quad-fighters. The only hard thing about my LDD business was initially transferring the models into LDD- everything after that is just importing it and cloning it over and over again.Zupponn wrote:Too lazy? Really though, I guess this is my own thread.

Ok. Sorry. I guess I was just annoyed by his constant posting of unrelated stuff in other peoples' threads.
