DF: Bonedoomed

Let me tell you a tale of seven very unlucky dwarves. They call me Scottsman, and I don't know anyone else in this caravan other than Arkbrik. We were seven, very, very unlucky dwarfs. Well suplied, but with only moderate skills to our name. Not to mention we were deposited in an evil land. This is going to be a long year.

2nd of Granite: We've been here barely any time at all and already, bad stuff is happening. It started raining oungent ooze, and now we're all taking impromptu powernaps. Thank god I seem to be imasdjlkfgf

And then everyone died. I'd say that took 15 in game days and about 5 minutes IRL. This was a terrible idea.

Put up the save and I'll try to reclaim.
Remus: Harry... I'm a werewolf.
Harry: Are you fucking serious?
Remus: Well yes, but I don't see how that applies here.

You can't have a DF LP without pics.

Just continue reclaiming.
We can have a succession game where each person abandons or dies out.

Sending it is a bit trickier than I initially thought. I'll figure it out. Sorry I haven't really been able to work on it though, I've been kind of off for a while now.

Well you didn't get too far, so I suppose it wouldn't be that hard to recreate.

How about a haunted tropical jungle?

That might be for the best. Also, get underground IMMEDIATELY. The rain will be toxic in haunted areas. It's very fun.

You will need the second to deal with the first, probably.

MANY INVASIONS! MUCH AWESOME!

A single mountain surrounded by haunted tropical jungle would be ideal. You would also most probably piss off the elves in the process of building much-needed walls around your fort, which will only add to the fun.

Ok, I'm starting this, with the Fortress Defense and Higher Learning mods.

Terrifying jungle, oh yeah.

Image

Plenty of funny neighbors.

LETS DO THIS

Image

Our bold dwarves have arrived... what horrors await them in Bonedoomed?

The site is a thick forest with a brook to the north, and a rising hillside to the south. I spot some stone in the murky ponds so we can probably sneak past/not bother with the aquifer if we want to.

Here's a list of the dwarves. Pick which one you want.

Arkbrik Slingoak
Male, 52
Expedition Leader
Proficient Appraiser
Adequate Record Keeper
Adequate Organizer
Novice Judge of Intent
He would never shy away from an opportunity to say he is better than somebody else.

Scottsman Romanticlashes
Female, 77
Proficient Miner
Proficient Carpenter
She likes acorn flies for their deafening buzz.

501stCadians Shiplance
Male, 72
Proficient Miner
Proficient Mason
He likes giant axe blades.

Splatteredquake
Female, 80
Proficient Carpenter
Proficient Grower
When possible, she prefers to consume cardinal.

Keldoclock Wheeledstakes
Male, 85
Proficient Woodcutter
Skilled Mechanic
Novice Building Designer
He absolutely detests bats.

Runs Eldershalls
Female, 87
Proficient Brewer
Proficient Farmer
She is incredibly quick to heal, but she is flimsy and really suspectible to disease.

IVhorseman Shotswallows
Female, 73
Adequate Wound Dresser
Adequate Diagnostician
Adequate Surgeon
Adequate Bone Doctor
Adequate Suturer
She has a fertile imagination.

Wheeledstakes seems to jive pretty well with my forum avatar....

Dorf me! (although I won't be part of the succession because this machine can't run DF)
