I must take my hat off to you, this race is yours. For now.The Shadowscythe wrote:
Just to show everyone the sizes . . . Yes, the Scythian Deity is only slighly longer than the Exodus - but Dwarves in sheer scale due to its widthspan.
And the Trattorian Flagship is simply dwarved by the Deity.
I love Natalya for coming up with the phrase "Technological Arrogance" it gives me so much to play with . . .

Not anymore!dilanski wrote:...this race is yours. For now.
I don't care if it's smaller, it's a giant OTC in space. There is no way to top this thing.
Just imagine this thing warping out and smashing right into the middle of the Deity...it wouldn't end very well.

How would you even power that thing so that it would go fast enough to cut through a ship. Also it would be a one use thing on most large ships because the explosions that being cut in half would cause would probably break the otc so that it would cut apart you own ship.
I guess I should and say nice job.

That being said I'm going to come up with some stats for making it charge some distances. Also, b/c it's an OTC I'm going to assume it'll survive ramming a ship.

I misspoke there i mean that the force of hitting another ship would break the mechanisms operating the otc may get fucked up and jam or explode the otc itself would be fine of course.Colette wrote:NapalmKing wrote:...break the otc...

Colette, I just noticed your ship can't fire more than 2 guns if facing forward and only half of them can shoot if using barrage fire.
Re: The Scythian Galactic Codex (20,000 VIEWS!)
You know, it's called micro-scale for a reason.

This would be true if ships fought on a flat surface, like an ocean. In space they can tilt five degrees and problem solved.BFenix wrote:Colette, I just noticed your ship can't fire more than 2 guns if facing forward and only half of them can shoot if using barrage fire.

I'm aware of that, but that applies only when the turrets can tilt their guns up and down, which I believe is not the case.stubby wrote:This would be true if ships fought on a flat surface, like an ocean. Re: The Scythian Galactic Codex (20,000 VIEWS!)
Huh, I had the impression that they could, but now that I'm looking again I'm not so sure. Or if they can tilt, I'm not sure they can tilt far enough to clear the turret in front of them.
Instead I'm now imagining that they pop up and down like whack-a-moles and fire in sequence.
