Transmission Origin: Avalon High Council
Sky Marshal Myrna von Prussia, angered that the main Avalonian fleet had left the Prussians on their own, meets with the High Council to persuade them to send the fleet back.
"As I said before, I will consider the matter once you've tried some of our fudge. Honestly woman, how can I even take you seriously?"
"Dis is an outrage! Your kingdom vas going to replace our damaged ships und protect us from de peach virus und now you leave venn ve are vulnerable?"
"Oh, pish posh. Avalon had troubles in the past and now look at us. We are the most powerful, most feared and respected empire in the whole galaxy."
"Hear hear!" joins a councilman.
"Most feared? But you und your kingdom are de laughing stock of de whole Brikverse! Vere ist Nagirrac? He vill listen to reason unlike you und your lazy council. Komm, mein freunden, wir verlassen."
"Well, I never! Can you believe how rude she was? After all, we're only trying to help them. Now, who are we supposed to meet with next?"
"Ah, of course, please come in good sir!"
"Now, we provided you with the defense codes so the AN can hurry up and occupy us." says the councilman. "Its time for you to pay up."
"You have done well..."
"... as promised."
"But before I allow you to take any of this treasure, tell me why you're willing to betray your own people?"
"Oh, who cares? Just give me my share so I can get off this rock and move to Assyria."
"My apologies, gentlemen, but I have altered the deal slightly."
Two ninja pop out of the bushes and attack the guards.
"NO! You've double crossed us!"
"Security! Please save us!"
"No! Please! I'll pay your five times as much as he does!"
"You are a disgrace! No honor! No sense of loyalty!"
"Loyalty? And do you really believe that you're in the position to lecture me on loyalty? Off with his head."
"What's our next move, master?"
"Gather the citizens that would reject our gathering. Exterminate them."
The Avalonian High Council has fallen.
Meanwhile, Myrna and her Ghost Division escort arrive at their secret location to be picked up.
"Kann you believe vat he said? Ve don't need their help? Dat ist ein gross outrage!"
Shots fire. Myrna is nearly killed.
"Vere did that komm from?"
"Over dere, mein kommander!"
A large host starts running from the woods.
It is a combined force of AN PAX Corps, Zupponn Mining Co. enforcers and Menggu Rebels.
"OPEN FIRE auf den sheissKopfs!" screams the sky marshal. The opposing sides trade volleys until...
...Beta Group personnel arrive and support the Prussians.
"Vhy are dey attacking us? Prussia ist still ein member of de AN!"
"They must have mistaken you for an Avalonian."
They were the last words the man ever spoke.
The opposing force was getting closer. It wouldn't be long before the Avalonians and Prussians would be overrun.
A Menggu Slasher attacks Myrna. She deflects his blow with her energy shield.
Then she makes sure to cut off his hand...
...and teach the rebel a lesson he would never forget for the rest of his short, short life.
Another slasher was ready to finish the job his comrade could not.
A PAX soldier and Menggu laid a barrage of fire on the Prussians.
That was, until one of them noticed something shiny that had just been tossed to him.
The grenades gave the Prussians just enough time to start firing back.
The PAX commander looked around to see who had thrown the grenades.
Two Avalonian spies leapt from behind a rock and began to fire on the invaders.
A PAX soldier fell easily.
The spies advanced.
Myrna was busy fighting the other slasher when...
... one of the Ghosts made her job a bit easier.
"Hurry mein kommander!"
The PAX commander was a great shot. He eliminated the spies without delay.
The two sides traded volleys.
The Prussians and Beta Group managed to bring the enemy down.
But the AN lackey was not going down without bring the Avalonians to their knees.
Myrna, fed up that the enemy was still alive, decided to throw her beam saber at him.
In an alternate universe, she would have made a great softball player.
The invaders were defeated. The survivors surveyed the field.
"I used to play here when I was a kid." said the Beta Group specialist. "All we ever wanted was peace."
"Not in die Brikverse." said Myrna.
an unseen figure peeked over the bushes, pleased with the carnage that lay before him.
