Battle for Bavaria.
In the past, the Bavarian Navy has been neutral in civil wars. That way they could protect the nation from outside forces, such as the USSSR, space pirates and other scumbags.
However this war is not the case. Many civilian ships fixed with guns and garbage ships have warped in. Rebels.
Zis is Admiral Ludendorff, you vill carry on ausvere. Munich is closed vor today.
"Ah, Ludendorff. Ve haff come to protest ze Kaiser. Vould you join us, saviour of Bavaria?"
Yah, or let us pass.
The S.S. Teutoberger moves forward, the fleet detachment is split into four groups.
Group 1 moves to the left flank.
And the Brandenburg makes the first kill shot.
Group 2 on the right flank gets closer to the rebels, and can fire more weapons.
Not wanting to be outdone by an Archivald class, the Blücher fires most of it's guns.
Which adds up to one kill.
*BZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ*
An OT beam is fired at one of the main rebel ships.
BAVARIA WILL LIVE ON!
OHMYGODIMONFIRE
REBELS TURN
One of the only big guns the rebels have fires at the Freya.
The Freya is hit badly, and it's main gun is rendered inoperational.
A few others combine fire on the S.S Brandenburg, they fail to do much damage though.
BAVARIAN LOYALISTS
The Capital Ship fires everything it has.
Creating a debris field of dead ships.
The Freya's main gun is fixed, but it's still likely to explode come the next round of fire.
The Gunship bomber shuttle squadron splits up.
And one of the Teutoberger's main guns is fired.
Bringing the rebels to their knees.
The Brandenburg fires it's main gun.
It fires it's other guns too.
Which manage to get one kill, total.
REBELS' TURN
Some smaller ships attack the bomber and shuttle.
The Bomber is destroyed.
Then a boarding battle ensued. It didn't really affect the game in the slightest.
The Loyalist defences have been set up in front of two choke points.
The rebels spread out so that the choke points become pointless.
Nevertheless, the boarders are almost wiped out.
They do manage to get a loyalist killed though.
The Rebels combine fire again on the Brandenburg.
....
Which does nothing. Again.
It does work on the Blücher though.
LOYALISTS
The experimental ship prepares to fire it's OT gun.
"Is that supposed to happen?"
Apparently not.
Due to bad lighting, I wasn't able to get a pic of a rebel battleship being attacked. It was though.
The Teutoberger creates a bigger debris field.
And the Brandenburg helps.
It still doesn't sink that one ship though.
A rebel uses his shotgun.
Killing the rest of the Bavarians.
REBEL TURN
Many ships are forced to enter the debris field, some die in the execution.
alot actually.
One ship says "fuck it" and activates the experimental teleportation technology.
The Bubble is too small and the engines and main gun are snapped off.

The ship was never seen again.
The Teleporter was the last chance to assault Munich.
Was it worth it?
A brave space whaling ship teleports.
And successfully!
It's harpoons pull the Teutoberger and Brandenburg together.
A mass of ships teleport behind the Teutoberger. Their tiny guns do nothing.
LOYALISTS
They board the Rebel Battleship.
The Captain, knowing the ship is too big for the Teleporter, uses it as a means of suicide.
The Teutoberger fires at the garbage ships.
The Brandenburg attempts to rip the Space Whaling Ship in half.
With success.
One of the last rebel ships is destroyed by the Debris.
And the last one is captured. The Rebels are to be made an example of.

Pretty unbalanced battle, that flying saucer could have owned the entire rebel fleet by itself.

Why is it that like half the empires in the brikverse are falling apart because of the AN/TA war? The brikverse is really an unstable place.

The Teutoberger on a good day might. If all the Rebel ships combined fire on it, it would have been destroyed. The only reason the loyalists won is because I didn't know how to resolve the boarding action.Robot Monkey wrote:Pretty unbalanced battle, that flying saucer could have owned the entire rebel fleet by itself.
Some heroes such as Piltogg and Warhead cause chaos and discord wherever they appear. Also because every minifig loves war and violence.Colette wrote:Why is it that like half the empires in the brikverse are falling apart because of the AN/TA war? The brikverse is really an unstable place.
