I've created a special figure for use in large scale battles, and am posting his stats and picture here. He's extremely powerful, but is also ludicrousness expensive, costing as much as 11 standard troopers. Based on Harry Dresden from the Dresden Files Book Series.
Harry Dresden (Wizard, White Council Warden: Has magic or Sword Fighting Feats)
Über Hero, Skill 1d12, move 9, armor 2d8+4 (+4 comes from permanently equipped armor/traits, 2d8 is natural armor). 28 CP, items CP: 17 (must arrive at battle with all standard items). Has Resilience, Implacable, Dreaded, Duel Wielding, Multitasking, Skilled, Infinite pockets, I Slay Dragons. May not use automatic weapons, firearms other than revolvers or old style rifles and pistols, cannot use energy weapons of any type or operate aircraft and high-tech vehicles. Net CP: 45 CP.
Equipment/Skills: (may swap out items at any time, but cost 2 inch of move)
Leather Duster: Full protection of armor (+2), no movement penalty. Always equipped.
Magic Shield: Full effects of shield, and +1 to armor. Use rating: 3, no movement penalty. Always Equipped.
Blasting Rod: 1 handed short range weapon, use 4, range 8, damage 1d8
Staff: 1 handed long range weapon, use 4, range 12, damage 1d12. CC heavy weapon, use 3, damage 1d10-1, no movement penalty. Cannot Charge.
Sword: Hand weapon, use 2, damage 1d8.
Force Rings: always equipped. use 2, range 4, damage 1d6 -1, 1d6 knockback.
44 Revolver: 1 handed short range weapon, use 3, range 6, damage 1d6.
Improvised Weapons skills: Use random object as if it was a hand weapon.
Resilience: +1 to armor.
Implacable: This minifig is a force of nature, utterly unstoppable by conventional means. It ignores all movement penalties from terrain or enemy effects. If immobilized, it may still move up to half of its original speed. +3 CP
Dreaded: Enemy units take a -1 penalty when engaging. +2 CP
Multitasking: Unit can attack separate enemy units if it is carrying enough weapons to do so. ex. with two guns, can shoot at two enemies. +1 CP
Skilled: Hero-only trait. Grants unit +1 bonus to targeting and feat rolls. +2 CP
I Slay Dragons: This minifig's prowess at slaying monsters is legendary; if his attack would successfully deal general damage to a minifig or "monster", that attack then deals d3 size damage/HP damage (rather than the normal 1 size damage).

Re: Protoype Fig
Hell to the yeah! Don't dual gunning and multitasking cover the same thing though?
His skill and speed are extra boneriffic, but this is the kind of character where that kind of thing is OK.

Too complicated. If it can't fit on the back of a character card, it's too many rules for one guy.

Re: Protoype Fig
You can fit anything on the back of the card. Fit anything with a readable font size maybe not. In all seriousness, you can fit it, a lot of this entry is stuff like weapon stats or personal bio, which wouldn't go on the actual stat card.

Re: Protoype Fig
I don't bother with even the new 2010 magic dice rules, let alone these, I just say "heroic feat" for wizards casting spells.

Yeah, I'm not planning to bother with using magic rules either, just having him use a wizard feat to do whatever I want.

Without weapon stats it'd totally fit.stubby wrote:Too complicated. If it can't fit on the back of a character card, it's too many rules for one guy.

I like the idea, good concept!
Ah, these diplomats! What chatterboxes! There's only one way to shut them up - cut them down with machine guns. Bulganin, go and get me one!
