Undead versus The Living (A Dramatic Battle!)

Post by Professor Ken » Tue Aug 05, 2008 8:24 am

I finally got around to actually photographing a Brikwars battle while in progress, and making a full writeup for it. You can find it via this link:

I apologize for the bad image quality, we didn't have a good camera. The battle was fought between myself and my brother Tom. Once again, I soundly whipped his posterior, although he did give me a run for my money halfway through. Look it over!

Oh, and I will be very impressed if any of you can get the three gags in the message, concerning Tom's four-armed elite, my royalty and hero, and Tom's hero. I sincerely doubt you will be able to, since all three are a little far-fetched.

The battlefield was pretty boring, but I liked the comments from the minifigs.

Well, if you think about it, most medieval battles took place in large, open fields. There's an awful lot of those in fifteenth-century (or modern) Europe. And I tend to put more effort into soldiers than scenery anyways, particularly since most of my skirmishes are made up on the spot.

Glad that you like my commentary, though... and once again, I'll see if I can get a better camera for next time, but I can't really make promises.

Yeah... most of my minifigs have (or are prompt to receive) all manner of names and titles. Some of them are cliches, and some of them are just fitting, whatever seems to stick best.

Why is it I always seem to be on the losing side of these battles? Am I not a good BrikWars player? I blame the dice in this one.
They don't call me 'Darth' Mohawk just 'cause I tell 'em to!

It's all in your strategy, my friend... you have none. Oh, and I make better, more organized armies than you do. So your defeat is inevitable. Hahaha.
