Game of Thrones: The Board Game

I've played this with a few friends and it is amazing. It's like a more complicated, balanced version of RISK. This includes fleet battles(though this happens rarely due to supply lines), massive contemplation on how each move could possibly win or lose the game, and how you could win it back if you are able to acquire control of the Iron Throne, Valerian Blade or Messenger Raven.

I've heard a story involving someone getting a knife pulled on them over this game, which has me pretty much sold.

Debated buying it today, but unfortunately my wallet disagreed.

Yeah, plus you need at least two other people to play it with you.

Maybe I can start a kickstarter campaign to raise that money.

Did they just buy the name for better sells or is there a deeper connection to the books?

Character cards, maps, and a design not assimiliar to the maps they use when planning strategies in the show.

Drink every time there's snuggle, death, or reference to incest.

Or someone mentioning a throne, or a raven, or short people, or epic parting shots, etc.

Drink also when:

-You hear "It is known".
-You hear "You know nothing, Jon Snow."
-You're generally surprised with a plot twist, even if it's just because you didn't read the books.
-Joffrey is a ballerina.
-A Stark does something stupid.
