United Systems Alliance Revival: Now with 100% more tanks!

The United Systems Alliance would like to present its replacement for the aging fleet of Consuls-the Demarché Fighter-Bomber. It is much larger than its predecessor, and features up-to-date modern technology.

Image
It also packs a much larger punch than its predecessor-the two size 4 missiles on the sides can each destroy an area equivalent to a jumbo grey baseplate (48x48). Although the F61 was primarily designed to combat vehicles and other fighters, there are two light machine guns underneath the cockpit in the event the fighter needs to engage infantry. Overall, the fighter equips with 6 missiles and 5 guns. Also, there’s a bomb bay but it needs a bit more work before becoming fully functional.

A small squad of USA infantry led by a Red Beret, with a hardsuit, secret service man, B’lack Obama and the USA champion Lady Liberty in the back.

4th wall crap: I was saddened to hear Silent-sigfig demolished all of his lego creations, including the United Systems Alliance, so I was determined to revive such an awesome faction and began amassing sand-green. I think I succeeded in pulling off the look. Also, this might be larger than anything silent made such to the point that I thought about scrapping it and turning it into a gunboat or torpedo frigate. If there’s a lot of support for this I will buy more sand green and make a new USA tank.

Have terrorists on your hands? Dirty communists? Evil dictators that we don't like? Then have no fear, the Commissioner tank is here to show them the power of the free world!

The Commissioner was built when US tread supplies began dwindling due to their addiction to building treaded vehicles. To reduce dependence on foreign tread imports, President Obama approved a research project to develop a hover tank. Although it is smaller and less heavily armed than the older Diplomat tanks, the Commissioner benefits from modern technology and is expected to replace the older Diplomat model in the future.

Image
A close-up of the turret in all of its dakka-glory. Minifigs fit behind the two machine guns, and the two clips at the back support various interchangeable modules such as antennae and missiles.

Here the armor skirt is removed to demonstrate the repulsor engines. Treads are so last tek-level- the future is clearly hover teknology.

Finally, a few of our troops demonstrate a new development, a spy drone. It is armed with a small laser for self-defense.

I like it, but I think USA tanks need treads. Otherwise, it's a great tank! I love the minifig stands as armor.

Nice builds, but for me a tank needs treads. Nothing like hearing the thunderous sound of destruction dealing machinery in motion.

Hover tanks are where it's at - and this one still feels like it has treads. How did you get that armor on the main turret angled like that?
