Oh, and has anyone seen how Necrons play in this edition? They are nasty. I'm talking Warriors knocking out tanks here.
My buddy plays necrons...
And I play a mechanized guard list...
:fu:

Anyway, I hope that they release an updated basilisk kit that has all of the options they show in the codex.

I have been tempted to make a space marine army themed as a pest control unit. Like, white armor, shoulder marks like this Image
and that kind of thing (like green and yellow and red insect blood splashes all over them). Then I would put them against tyranids :)
NO!THERE ARE NO POLAR BEARS IN FINLAND!!!

That'd be hilarious. And maybe get the Blood Angels dread that has the giant sword thing, except replace it with a plasticard flyswatter.

Paint the fuel tanks on all of their flame throwers like cans of RAID. Replace the doors on all of their vehicles with mosquito nets. Fly swatters replace ALL of their power weapons. Bug Bomb grenades.

Dammit, now I'm just getting carried away. This always happens. :why:

Thinking about getting batle for blackreach and starting up an ork army. I figure I can trade with somebody who also got that and wants to start space marines, give them my SM for his orks. Any tips for somebody building an ork army?

Supposedly eBay is a good place to get nearly as good as new packs second hand from all those players who buy a starter on a wim and lose interest before they have painted the second miniature.

Warhammer 40k, above all else, is a machine to extract money from the 15-35 male demographic.

The story IS supposed to be satirical, I mean come on; "In the grim darkness of the future, there is only war" is like a line from a B-movie. If you read the books for any length of time this should become clear.
