This seems... misleading. And tooting your own horn. I'd take that last part out, mate. Nevertheless, welcome, newcomer! I'll see if we can put together a timeline or sommat sometime soon for distribution.

Well, if you put it that way, I'm actually tooting silent-sigfig's horn. :rtfm:
(He did authorize me to be the AN's manager in his absence, though)

As for a timeline...that would be cool. Let's figure something out.

I think the wiki could use some major updating.

You're the bloody OP, man! Besides, the whole point here is that nobody is restricted to anything and can do what ever the heck they want to- so don't tell them that they've got to join this one thing, let them read it and post if they want to. Bah.

I'm with Ross on this one. It's kind of a dick move toward people who a) want to have their own renegade faction or b) don't give a damn about the war in the first place.

Fine, because I'm the nice and friendly newbies moderator, I respect y'all's opinions and have updated the OP.

Edit: Except Zupponn's. Landfall is totally a recommended read and it deserves more attention.

I'd actually remove all that alliance stuff. I think most people would just get confused. I joined only because I wanted to read awesome battles and share my creations. Those alliance thing make you think that the whole forum is for some diplomatic shit. Some people like to talk about alliances and stuff here, so there is no problem with that. But I don't think those alliance links and all would be useful to newbies, mostly because most of the (new) people here is to share their brikwar creations and see other's, not to be swamped by some alliance things. At least you don't have to know any of those alliance things, and you don't need to. Some may be interested, though.

But I am not the mod. Do as you like.

Fine fine, especially after reading aoffan's post I removed all the alliance links. I mean, what if someone comes up with an alliance while I'm swamped with homework? Or wants to be a hermit kingdom? I should replace it with a list of more awesome battles.

"Big Burgundy List of where everyone lives" is seriously out dated.

Seriously, my previous post is all you really need to start on the forum. There's no need for anything else. It's just too much to take in at once.

Agreed, but I would keep the wiki and add the Noble Forum Code.

I just clicked the link for the World of Text thing. That thing is pretty much dead now, I think. Also useless.
