Bionix- A nostalgia thread
I know, I know, people on here have some mixed feelings on the topic of bionix, but I had to ask: does anyone miss guys like these?:
I miss those good old days, when bionix actually had some decent technic functions.

A) I'm not going for post count. Otherwise I would be spamming General Discussion. I wanted to start a decent Bionix-Related thread. I'm sorry if that offends you, but frankly, your antagonistic nature is starting to get on my nerves.
B) Okay.

I dunno. I kind of like ball joints.
Then again, I started with Technic, and didn't really get into System until about 2009. I'm more used to working with balls than most others.

I was a huge fan of Bionicle during the first two waves, when they were still only a subtheme of Tecnic. Those bohrok, with the feature that bumped out their heads, were some of my favorite toys growing up. I also had those two large ones where you pulled the tabs on back of them and they boxed. I think it was called takanuva or something?

Really don't understand why there is the hate for Bionicle, they were probably the only thing that made TLG any money during there earlier years.

Re: Bionix- A nostalgia thread
I dug Bionix, although in retrospect I've spent far too much on it back in the day. Nevertheless there are figures I like and still have assembled and displayed (the Toa Mata/Metru teams, and the barraki - cthuloid underwater monsters).
This is prolly my favorite set:
It's fun to build and has neat functions.

Re: Bionix- A nostalgia thread
I loved Bionicle as a kid. The Rahkshi and Vahki were my favorites, but Takanuva with his hoverbike was my favorite set. I stopped collecting around 2005-2006, when I started to really get into D&D and Star Wars miniatures. My Brikwars craze began around late 2008 or so, although I've always been playing brikwars since 2005, when I first found it.
Re: Bionix- A nostalgia thread
I loved Bionicle, until they brought out the second wave of Bohrok... it felt like they were just pushing for more money at that point.
Kopaka was my favorite, because he was bad ass. And ice cool.

Re: Bionix- A nostalgia thread
I liked Bionicle, but unfortunately I only ever got one green one. He still is together lost somewhere in my room.
