Archangel
Re: Archangel
Not everything has to shoot friggin laser beams or have an autotargeting sight. Deal with it.

Re: Archangel
Done with another concept for the Nighthawks. This time, we have the Pointman.
The spearhead of the Nighthawks. Equipped with heavier armor and close-range weapons, this guy can breach any room with ease. Also, he has a pair or robotic exoskeleton speed-boosters. These are used to aid the Pointman charging his enemies, which may be either humans or doors.

I can't! I dunno what it is, but I have like a compulsory urge to be a dick to mgb. That and gun nerdery combined make for an unstoppable tidal wave of douche.

Those spokes are actually gunbarrels. This is the in-game equivalent of a minigun, and I decided that it'd look cool if the barrels spun around that way. Rule of cool over practicality, you know. Also, it will fire 20 rounds per second. But yes, it will be good for melee too.

Re: Archangel
Ah! I like how you developed and animated it, looks good, I would add a larger magazine or ammo feed and a handle or two.
Re: Archangel
I'll definitely add another handle. I think the magazine is fine, because it's shooting small bullets. Probably 4mm rounds or something.BFenix wrote:Ah! I like how you developed and animated it, looks good, I would add a larger magazine or ammo feed and a handle or two.

The reason Miniguns have rotating barrels is to reduce the firing strain on each individual barrel...
...What you have is a large revolver with the chambers arranged in the most impractical way possible!

Re: Archangel
People, these are fictional weapons! They're not supposed to work if reproduced IRL. They're supposed to look functional (despite what ever lack of performance it might give the gun) and most of all, cool.
Re: Archangel
That's the problem, it's by no means a functional looking design!BFenix wrote:People, these are fictional weapons! They're not supposed to work if reproduced IRL. They're supposed to look functional (despite what ever lack of performance it might give the gun) and most of all, cool.

Re: Archangel
I completely disagree with you Whiteeagle. It would definitely not be the best one, but I can imagine something like that working, like mgb animated. But that's not the point! Do most weapons you see on movies and games work? No. Do they look awesome? Hell yes. That's what we're going for here.Whiteagle wrote:That's the problem, it's by no means a functional looking design!BFenix wrote:People, these are fictional weapons!
